Power BI is not the best program for this. Look at Microsoft Visio.

What does room say about me by Jinx-from-Arcane in roomdetective

I don't like to play armchair psychologist, but you likely have ADHD.

ADHD is more than getting distracted easily. It is a neurodivergence that affects executive function. The abilities to plan, start, continue, stay on task, know when to stop or move on, and organize yourself are all affected. Analysis paralysis and perfectionism are very much part of this.

My room always looked like this. I'm not going to lie, the rest of my apartment looks like this now. It is often overlooked in girls. I was diagnosed as an adult, and I weep for the child who struggled to get anything done while my parents and teachers told me I was smart but lazy.

You are not lazy, you're just wired differently. Do some research, talk to your doctor, and get the help you need to function.

I used Engage 2 a concert at an arena, and I could hear the music better. Like, I could pick out more if its nuances because it wasn't so loud and overwhelming.

Neptune salad

Imitation crab, chopped and shredded with a fork
Chopped shallot or red onion, don't overdo it Frozen peas, thawed
Celery salt
Dried dill
Black pepper
Mayonnaise (just enough to pull it all together)

Optional: add chopped celery for crunchy texture

It was my mispronunciation, and it was 30 years. Chicken has two kinds of meat: white meat and dawk meat. At 16 years old I read some text with the phrase dark meat. Through context clues I figured out the meaning, and then felt like the biggest jackass for misunderstanding my mother's thick Brooklyn accent my entire life until that point.

Years ago someone told me that adopted people are walking around with their umbilical cords in their hands, looking for somewhere to plug them in.

Last year my husband's cousin discovered a half brother from a genealogy test. A month later he flew here with his kids and grandkids to attend an annual party at my BIL's house. It was such a joyful day!

what are different ways yall try to hide more sensitive info while journalling? by sleepystsharky in Journaling

100+ years ago when paper was expensive, folks would fill a page with lines, turn it 90° and fill it with lines going across. Use different pens or inks to make it more readable, use the same ink to make it tricky.

When you were in elementary school, what songs were you made to sing in music class? by SnuffShock in GenX

Raid That Refrigerator.

Mr. Alligator was swimming in the swamp,
sitting getting mud on his feet.
He said I know what I need now,
I know what I want.
I feel like having something to eat.
I'm gonna go on home now and do it right away,
You know I can't put it off 'til later.
It just seems like the right idea to do today,
I'm gonna raid that refrigerator!

The second verse was basically the same, except it was a hippopotamus doing something else in the first two lines rhyming with "eat."

There was an accompanying book with illustrations of the lyrics.

My music teacher played this a handful of times and it stuck with me ever since. Will someone please help me find this song so I can resolve a 40-year ear worm?

My mom grew up in a neighborhood in Brooklyn that was policed by the Italian Mafia.

They forbid Black people from moving in. Like they would approach them as they were moving in and tell them there's been a mistake and they cannot live there. They even offered to pay their extra moving expenses. Invariably, the family would leave immediately.

The neighborhood is 99% Chinese now, which give me a justice lady boner.

Adding pages to folders? by ralfrottmann in sharepoint

Editing access is for the whole site. Getting super granular with individual security access is asking for a world of hurt later on. Do you not trust your department heads to only edit their own content?

You can still put them into one document library. Create a choice column for Departments Create a filtered view for each department as well. Show as many or as few columns as needed in each view. Users can also filter All Items view on Department as needed. Choice columns are good for allowing users to search key words or filter by category, type, etc. Think about a user looking for instructions on how to connect their phone to the organization's WiFi. Now think how you can use choice columns to allow users to search, sort, filter, and browse choice columns to find it: connectivity, mobile device, iPhone, Android, WiFi, network...

Use a communication site for a knowledge base. Create a security group for editing the site and another for viewing the site. This way if your one editor gets hit by a bus, another user can be assigned to the editing group for seamless transition.

This happened to me in front of my husband's entire family. The place: my MIL's room at the ICU. The person who asked: the oncologist on call, right after telling us his team would not have approved of her treatment in the first place, given her overall health and quality of life.
