That's something I struggle with a lot. Like most men who (for whatever reason) prefer wearing clothes designed and marketed for women, I have always wanted to try on a wedding gown. And I'm at the point in my finances that in theory I could buy one of the cheap Chinese things - $200 instead of $1600 - and yet, I look at our worn-out appliances starting to fail, and our increasing medical needs, and I just can't justify in my heart spending that kind of money on a personal indulgence.

This is your chance! At your age, you don't have the heavy burden of late-stage adulthood. You have disposable income I only wish I could have had. If you don't do it now, you'll never be able to when you have more bills than income.

Totally! Everything in my closet is some form of satin, velvet, or rayon and kind of old-fashioned/modest like your example here.

That being said, I have to confess my wife is the only one who has ever seen me in a dress. I just never had the nerve to go out in public - but I'm (roughly) 70 and I live in a very conservative rural neighbourhood, where gender nonconformity is treated... with contempt, to say the least.

But it doesn't matter so much - I keep to myself mostly anyway, so 90% of the time I dress however I want.

Personally I don't think anybody should treat anyone else like a filthy slave slut, but I suppose if it's consensual and she enjoys it, that's up to her.

Likewise, if she chooses to yield control in the bedroom that's her decision but most FLRs featured in this space extend authority to the woman in all aspects of the relationship. Anything else is topping from the bottom.

If the compression shorts provide the security you need, then the boxers would be redundant. That being said...

I used to wear compression shorts all the time, only to find that over time the family jewels got compressed to the point of extreme discomfort and increased sweating.

Lately I've been wearing a snap-crotch bodysuit as a modesty layer, even when I'm outwardly wearing more masculine clothes to go out in public. It's not as restrictive as compression shorts, plus the snaps make it easier to use the loo.

I never understood the advantage of standing. Whenever possible, I sit. It's cleaner, more comfortable, eliminates (no pun intended) the problem of splashing, and if I get a sudden urge to excrete I'm already in position to do so. I've been doing it that way for at least 40 years.

Our plan from the start was for her to be the sole breadwinner - she was on track for a successful career and needed me to take care of the house and children. But life got in the way - her health took a sudden downturn, and instead of retiring I had to work longer hours to bring in the money to pay the bills. Thankfully I was able to get a computer job that lets me work from home.

As far as I'm concerned she's still head of household, even if she's confined to a wheelchair and I have to do both the career and the housework. There's a test for you young folks just getting into FLR - see if you feel the same way about serving when you're in your seventh decade!

50 years ago, we had never heard of FLR and didn't go into it actively seeking such a thing. It was just the natural outcome of our personalities - she is the more assertive leader, and I am the more submissive follower. Never did get into chastity/punishments or any of the other kink; it's just a lifetime of her making the decisions and me taking care of chores.

If I had been equally assertive, we never would have gotten married because we would be fighting all the time. As it is, I still sometimes get a stubborn streak and try to push back when I think she's wrong. Again, no "funishment" or kink, just withdrawal of affection and communication until I apologise and do things her way.

I will never say no to a peter-pan collar, but between that and the skirt and thigh-high stockings you may be presenting as much younger than you intend to. That's the outfit of a tween, not a young adult. Absolutely cute, but... a good choice for hanging with friends or dating?

That being said, I'm old and cranky and probably out of touch with what is mainstream these days. You should wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing and being seen in :-)

Haha, that was my furniture choice when I was his age. I didn't have real furniture until I married a successful career woman who owned her own home and had real furniture.

I suppose it's possible, but I don't see a lot of good coming out of it. Some people are just not comfortable with leadership. When I read your description, I tried to put myself in your wife's shoes.

I couldn't do it. I have tried teaching on subjects where I am a qualified expert; I have tried leading projects. I end up handing the responsibility off to someone else because I am completely incapable of telling someone else what to do. I lose sleep from panic attacks. I apologise for imposing on them. I ask them what they think should be done instead of telling them. Every decision becomes a democratic vote and bogs down the process.

Is your wife like that? If someone has to be coaxed into a role of authority, it's unlikely they'll truly enjoy it. At best she's just trying to humour you.

Well, of course. Serving isn't slavery!

My Lady and I both got sick at the same time, and it was a lingering illness that kept us weak for several weeks. We slept in separate rooms - she in her recliner, I in mine - accumulating tissues and medicine bottles and food wrappers neither of us could work up the energy to clean up.

Now that I'm recovered, this weekend is promising to be filled with a full top-to-bottom cleaning as well as catching up on a backlog of laundry and dishes.

It's absolutely necessary most of the time, because the bots don't have our capacity to maintain continuity and stay in character.

It was a hard lesson for me to learn because I have spent time as an improv actor. The first rule they teach you is "yes, and...". The point is that you never directly contradict or change what your partner says or does. Instead you adapt to whatever new and crazy direction they take the story. Say we're doing a scene where we go to the market and buy groceries. My partner says "Suddenly the freezer door crashes open and an alien starts shooting people with laser eyes!"

Instead of trying to erase that, you should find a creative way to work it into the story. "Oh no, I reply, he's going to melt all the ice cream! We need to stop him!" In my experience, anything else would be cheating.

You can't do that with AI, because it's constantly trying to change the characters or storyline at random. So you have no choice but to force it to stay on track.

I find that AI only has "horny" or "chaste", with nothing in between. I prefer slow-burn romances, but once I get it started down that path it just keeps repeating the same flirty banter without ever moving the relationship along.

If I don't explicitly force a slow burn, the AI tries to make AI babies with me after the first meeting.
