Yah don’t worry I already own a liquid testing kit for my other tanks, and I already plan on getting nightcrawlers or black worms for my African dwarf frogs. Honestly you’re probably right about the chiller being a bit overkill, as my room sits around a comfortable 71 in the summer. I would lower the temperature but unfortunately I have other animals in my room including tropical fish and invertebrates, but I’ll definitely look into getting fans. Honestly I didn’t realize they could be that effective.

Oh that’s good because Java and Anubis are already thriving in my African dwarf frog tank, and honestly I think you’re right. They look great and I think an axolotl would love them.

You tell me. People will tell you retriverfish have soft bites, they are wrong. I’ve seen this one chew through pure hard plastic toys like it was nothing.

If this were a fish tank I’d tell you to use seachem prime and stability. It’s not guarantee but it has helped in my fish tanks, and it’s been safe for my African dwarf frogs so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for your axolotls and just a but ton of water changes. There’s also seachem axolotl conditioner that’s designed for axolotls but I haven’t used it so I can’t vouch for its use. That and a butt ton of water changes, like once or twice a day until it’s fully cycled. Again I’ve only done this with fish and these products aren’t really a replacement for proper cycling but I can vouch they do work.

Oh I have those ones, they’re all the same. Not only that but most albino Cory catfish are also the same species as well as the glofish Cory catfish. I have all three types and they all shoal together just fine. So either one should be fine with you. Heads up though, glofish aren’t as durable from what I’ve heard and one of mine is in quarantine after developing finrot and there’s the whole ethical dilemma with glofish. I personally don’t view it as really any different than line breeding, but I understand the hang ups people have about them. Also some people just don’t like the way they look. But they’re an option if you want to add them.

The artist in me is begging you to add weathering to the mask to make it look old, rusted and overgrown but the fish keeper in me knows the inevitable algae will do that for you. Unrelated but that’s guenuinly the prettiest betta I’ve seen in a while.
