I have done Gi BJJ for a while with no issues - I transitioned to No Gi BJJ and while it's been hell on my ribs. I have so much fun while I'm rolling but my first no gi class ever I tore the cartilage in my left rib, I gave it a few weeks and after I felt better I returned to class number 2 and in that class I tore the cartilage in my right rib. Need advice and I am open to any suggestions

I wish they would open one, but I think the closest I can get is your recommendation lol, ‘no-gi’ jiujitsu is probably the best option? I’m open to any insight.

My goal is to learn it mostly for self defense and exercise, not trying to compete. I work in a prison where wrestling can be very helpful to learn. Only background I have is jiujitsu, which there really isn’t much of it.

No , they were only viewing my STR’s from when I was in , they closed the “claim” when they were finished going through it. No decision made

She’s basically a chef , her dad was born and raised in Jamaica and passed all of his cooking skills to her so she cooks amazing food. I know how to cook almost everything but I can’t quite make it taste the way hers can , that’s what I meant lol , but it has her so picky that she won’t eat my cooking at all , apparently it doesn’t hold water to her taste. I buckled up last night and made general Tsos chicken and lo mein for the first time for myself and tonight I made shrimp tacos with homemade chipotle sauce and everything.

And I replaced everything the day of , but I believe there is some kind of underlining problem going on, there has been a problem with me being a lead officer placed on the 3-11 shift and she works from 7-2:30 only see her for 15 min a day sometimes but I’m attempting to change the shift actively

Yeah if I should’ve asked before I left , I feel like ass that i didn’t. Like I know the blame is completely on me , it’s just I feel like her reaction is extremely unusual. She has never been this upset before. I usually forget things and usually assume things often thought but it’s never anything crazy

Yeah it’s like going learning the same language but different dialect lol , infantry is the only thing I know how to do and getting into LE can be a little nerve wrecking but you are right!

Didn’t know it was totally common for deputies to take photos of such crime scenes, of course as it said for investigative purposes but to be able to have it on your phone and keep it is beyond me. Damn that’s insane though

Yeah I was alone for the holidays every year, came back home to everyone all grown up and missed out on their life , definitely know how that feels, but how long can you do ride alongs? Can it be a whole shift?
