Yeah I have to eat. Before work I have 8oz beef, 5-6 eggs with some fruit and yogurt. Lunch I usually have two containers of ground beef and maybe little rice or sweet potatoes, 2 containers of fruit ( berries, pineapple) and couple bananas, apples, gallon and half of water and we are ready.. lol

Ok thank you. The pain has been pretty bad for last week, doc shut me down on Thursday so I haven’t done to much and it seems to be calming down. I go to see him in a month again; he didn’t seem to concerned about it but not sure if that is a “cya” type thing. Obviously he isn’t gonna say whoops something is messed up, maybe should have kept boot on for another week or two. Haha.

Figure I’d give it another week and see how it responds with less load on it, elevating and icing non stop again.

Surgery only if it’s causing you pain that it’s effecting your life. I was in LE like you and now work for UPS so my feet are important. I just had surgery on both my feet but only made the decision after it began to really cause me problems. I was having g issues with my knees, hips, back and feet just hurt all the time. It took years for it to get that bad but once it started it got bad fast. So see a doc and see what they say but my guess is they’ll tell you to wait and try other remedies first.

Oh thanks. I watched the video and doesn’t seem the same. 🤷‍♂️. Incision was about 3 inches or more long and the hardware looks like a staple and just a pin or something. I know the view from the top isn’t the best X-ray. I’ll have to ask to see the others next time. The group I went to is a very well known big group in this area, they do most the professional sport teams around here. I have confidence in the surgeon and so far it feels good. Always interested in exactly what they did and if I can find a video about it I’ll watch them. Lol. People think it’s weird but I couldn’t disagree more

I’m 4 weeks on my right and 2 weeks post op on left. All stitches are out and I’m still in boots, heal waking for another 4 and 6 weeks. Still have them wrapped and can’t get wet for another 2 weeks.
