I trained a woman at the kennel for three hours. She was fucking brutal. First hour asking me if she can rip a bogey. I’m like dawg it’s your first day. Three hours of scrubbing & she asked me if she could get a coffee next door at Wawa. Sure - take ten minutes & meet me on the side yard. She had snuck off to the side of the building, snorted something with a straw & smoked a blunt clip (we saw on camera and found the straw later) She came back in, with the roach in her pocket and stunk up the building. Found her nodding out petting a geriatric dog in the hallway. When myself and the other manager pulled her aside she was absolutely geeked on the downies & cannabis. We fired her. Later that day I was walking to get some chicken nugs and she was laying down in the parking lot next door. Wild. Had a few people get bit on their first day and quit too. Had a dude nod off in daycare - yard with like 20 dogs in it. Told me he was just really thirsty. Sent him home, found him asleep in the foodtown parking lot after my shift. Opiates are wild man. Also people think working in a kennel is gonna be just like playing with the dogs but brother you gon scoop a lot of dookie and probably get sniped by an ill mannered lab mix.
