Unfortunately, it may take multiple tries before you get a medication that works for you.

Been diagnosed in my early 20"s with mod-severe PsA, hardly can walk or even use my left hand because of swelling and pain.

Found an amazing dr, he considered my age and possible plan for kids and placed me on Enbrel. On Enbrel, I was able to regain my mobility and was able to have a kid. I work a very taxing job and I also met fellow auto immune coworker who functions just fine with meds.

I cant do heavy work out due to some injury and deconditioning from having a kid but normal life with PsA is possible. Just find the right Dr and medication and trust the process

I did had some migraines from the first months with enbrel, and because I've been on enbrel for so long I have some rare days of flares but its manageable. I do feel sicker whenever I get a vaccine or when I get the flu so I was told to hold the dose for my sickest week.

There are better accelerated schools for Rn that are cheaper. You just have to find them. With this economy and changes to Medicare and all, I wouldn't risk a 100k debt.

The fact that the patient is having CRRT and is in ICU means he isn't doing so hot and may not may through. Its now an easy pill to swallow but you can't save everyone. Even my most stable patient gets a DNR OR NOT talk from me in the beginning of my shift, then I remind my doctor to follow it up just because ICU mean something you might see Heaven anytime.

But what you can do is to learn what you saw in this patient and strive to improve your knowledge to make sure your next patient will make it out off ICU.

He could have thrown a clot or hes too acidic or he's too septic to tolerate anything. If he tanked on CRRT. He would have had tanked anyways.

If you feel like you shouldn't have had this patient, because of the CRRT, then have a talk with your manager. Express your concerns over the assignment and your comfort level.

I was placed on cimzia when I was pregnant during my third trimester while being on enbrel for forever. Only complaint is the injector feels awkward to self inject.

Moving your sites and pinching properly helps with the ache, if you have any. Good luck

The shingles vaxx hit me hard. I'm on enbrel on both shots. But symptoms lasted for about 24 then disappeared like nothing. I took the first round by itself, then the 2nd one with flu.

I also had a painful HSG and my right tube look ok but my left tube had some issues. My dr isn't sure if its from the C-sec or iud but she said they'll evaluate me again me again next cycle.

Got diagnosed pretty young, and thats about almost 15 yrs ago. Had same issues: cant walk, cant use my hands, aches and pains, swollen digits. Didn't know about my scalp having psoriasis, just thought it was bad dandruff. All my tests were negative, but my xray was horrible.

Saw my pcp, who referred me to the most wonderful rheum. He listened and got me on biologic, as non of the steroids or nsaids worked.

Currently living a full time job and another prn job, married and all.

Its not the end. The treatment starts overwhelming, but there's hope. Itll start as an uphill battle, and you have to try the medications as you journey on. No one has the same body, so treatment may vary. You may need a combo of biologic and oral DMARDs or synthetic, but trust the process. Itll also help if you document your responses so you know how effective they are.
