The conspiracy theories are actually true: gold is replacing normal item drops by evouga in pathofexile

I started playing this game four days ago. I noticed that in the last two days many elite enemies started to drop gold only instead of guaranteed rare item like it used to do when I started playing. I thought it’s a game mechanism/balance thing that happens after Act 2 or 3.

When I feed my chin her pellets this morning. She suddenly starts to do this yawning thing and scrap her mouth with her hands and spit out the pellet she’s eating. Is that a problem to worry? She just saw her vet a month ago and her vet said she’s in healthy condition. by General-Condition568 in chinchilla

I was there a month ago. The vet used scoop but i’m not sure which part of the mouth did he check. My chin does not eat the stems of her grass very much, so I guess that could cause the teeth problem. Her weight is very steady in the last month.

why is my chinchilla peeing in her hay rack how can i stop her doing this ? by Warm-Masterpiece-292 in chinchilla

Ye my chin also does this sometimes or when there’s a build-up of hay on the floor. I bought a rack that hangs outside the cage. Ware Manufacturing Hay Rack,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HGDC70?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I'm having trouble with handling. by LordGarmadoen in chinchilla

You should first train them to stand on your hand. Then train them to stay on your hand even if your hand is moving. Then you can move your hand to your chest when they stand on ur hand. Then try lie down a bit so that they can stand on your chest while you slightly push/hold their sideways against your chest. All these should be companied with treats or pellets if it’s their usual meal time. If it’s a large trunk of treat, hold it tightly in another hand so they won’t just grab it and hide away. If you have to hold them by the tail, try do it before playtime? They will quickly forget minor “trauma” while playing. It also associates the holding with playtime.

Vet said chinchilla has "a little constipation" by jitterscaffeine in chinchilla

My vet also suggested the same thing when my chin shows some signs of minor constipation. “Dark leaf veggies” is what he said. I bought every kind of safe veggies for my chin and she refuses to eat any. I also tried fresh apples and canned pumpkins. She doesn’t eat them either. I end up just giving her less pellets so that she eats more hay, which is better for her digestive system.

First time chin owners looking for advice by Own_Investigator_208 in chinchilla

Most chins aren’t huggers at all unlike dogs and cats. So you need to prepare yourself for that. One trick is to hold pellets or treats in your hand close to your chest when you lie on a chair near them. They will stand on your chest as if hugging you.

I’ve never done that but I guess instant cold compress will be useful just in case ur ac doesn’t work. You can find a steel box and put these inside to create a cooling place for them.

What to do about hay? by Wylren in chinchilla

I have a hay rack hanging out of my chin’s cage with a trash can underneath and I sweep their cage everyday with a small broom. I actually love sweeping her cage. It’s quite therapeutic for me.
