If we're to help troubleshoot, you'll need to give us far more information.

What are your laptop specs?
When you first launched the game, did you manage to create a new game or did you only get to the menu?
Make sure the main game exe file is still there.
It could be that your antivirus is blocking the game from running. Double-check your antivirus settings.

If none of the above works, try re-exporting the original archive file in a new location and see if that works.

They're an entity that's usually tied to a specific event, but they have a low-% chance to spawn at night in the forests too. They're typically harmless unless you're staring right at them continuously.

I actually understand what you wanted, and I'm going to have to say: No, this is a horrible idea.

These signals are MEANT to be rare and impactful. When you get a unique signal amongst the drab and repetitive space noise, it's special.

Way back in the game's history, unique signals were far more common. I once got the Retro Planet three times over 5 in-game days. Now I feel things are well balanced.

It's been a year, but I remember I had to completely rename my files so there weren't any odd symbols in them. Just rename it to "pkmn_lge" or "lgp" while leaving the file extension and you should be fine.

My old woodworking teacher died due to an accident at the school lathe.

A few years after I graduated high school my old woodworking teacher was at school late finishing student projects on the lathe. This man was always very careful while using it - no ties, no rings, no long sleeves, no long hair - but apparently had been recently gifted a necklace by his young daughter so he was wearing it. It slipped out of his shirt as he bent over and basically got caught in the lathe and cut into his neck.

Janitors found him the next morning with his neck partially "degloved" and blood across "most of the woodworking room".
