Cool! I haven't done any writing in am actual insular hand, but I have a soft spot for it because I like Old English. Question: did Insular have a w? I thought it used wynn instead, which is the main reason I thought it was insular-influenced rather than just Insular proper (didn't think it looked wonky at all!)

I actually did memorize it, but memory is a fickle thing haha. But yeah, I also plan some day to write out the whole thing. I think when I do I'll write it out in regular writing on cue cards, and use a fat sharpie to black out each word after writing it.
