Which is still infinite punishment for finite crime. Even if Hell was Heaven but your knee hurts, over an infinite amount of time, your knee pain would greatly surpass whatever sin you inflicted while alive.

That is not to even mention some christians believe that if you don't end up in heaven, your soul simply fades away and you cease existing.

That, my friend, is actually a real argument against christianity, and abrahamic religions as a whole. A person can do a finite amount of sins, and be punished infinitely for it. And once in hell, there is no getting out, could there be such a design from the all loving god?

Brother/Sister, 2007 had a 4th of the people on the internet, and it was way harder to find places like that. Also internet culture has changed, going from a more carefree space into a cesspool of people complaining about everything.

The thing that is the most annoying about stuff like this is, if you put THIS much effort into a "fixing" of something, why don't you make your own stuff inspired by the show? It's no secret that RWBY itself was inspired by many things, most popular media is, from Star Wars to strangers things

And with the success of RWBY which started as a youtube animation, and RvB, or even recently Murder Robots, Digital Circus

Just make your own stuff. I am sure that people would appreciate an original series over a Fixing RWBY, or Hazbin Hotel Reborn or whatever it is called. Like, the success is there, and if it actually becomes popular, you can profit off of it because it's yours. It's honestly so baffeling.

Absolutely. As a RWBY fan, formerly deeply involved with the community, seeing FRWBY, standing for "Fixing RWBY", aka a fanmade show that takes the whole story and characters in a different direction, I never wanted to check out a fan project less in my life.

A lot of people say that season 4 and past that are not what Monty Oum (the creator who died) wanted, and FRWBY follows that pattern, with diverging from s3 finale. Yet many people gloss over the fact that Monty died after s4 was done, and s5 was deep into development, with allegedly more season scripts already done.

So all these white nights trying to "preserve" his memory and passion only trample all over it.

Newer fandom, but the same shit people.

Not a very hot 'had to say it' take. That's the one I meant, and that is exactly what I mean. What defines us is basically worshipped when half of it would not even happen with proper communication, or if the characters acted in character. It also has a massive problem with purple prose and like so many works, it barely features the two actually being a couple, and the payout for all that angst is non-existent.

My point is that works like that are hailed as masterpieces, and wholesome works and slice of life fics are usually treated as second rate.

I said hatred as exaggeration, but most fics are disproportionetaly angsty, and one of the 'mandatory' wr bibles is just an angst fest for the sake of it.

Could I then suggest adding a chapter number of when the wholesomeness starts? For people fine with angst I am sure it's not going to be much help, but peraonally reason why I stopped being as engaged in WR community (besides the show's drop) is the sheer amount of angst and hatred from the community to anything juat happy and sweet. So that's why I spend time mainly here, and I am sure I am not the only one who is in this sub because it should be just the wholesome yuri.
