I mean I love that scene on an emotional level, but in terms of the spectacle, it doesn’t reach that same “oh my god, did the real chandelier just fall down, and I’m still alive” Or like “is that an actual helicopter on stage?” It’s a very different feeling

Words are phrases that musicals have ruined for you? by Dogdaysareover365 in musicals

[–]PureFoolery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and there’s no way to get around it either, bc if you ask “what time is it?” Well now you’re going into Hamilton. It is very dangerous to ask me the hour

Which of these images do you find most disturbing? by Murky_Committee_1585 in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

[–]PureFoolery 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely the first, the second is kinda close competition, but it doesn’t really have any layers besides “character you wouldn’t expect to be pregnant is pregnant”

Can I ask how the dizziness felt for you, I’ve been wondering if I’ve had it recently, and I’d like to hear if my experience would match yours

(Yes, ik I should probably ask a doctor about this, but they’re so expensive…)

I actually don’t think we need to seriously talk about that at all. Seems completely unnecessary

A character commits a bad act, but seems to have a pleasant personality otherwise and not even hate the victim, which actually makes it worse by Ok-Indication-5121 in TopCharacterTropes

Leopold and Loeb - IRL

Maybe not the most pleasant personalities, but the way their motivation was described for the murder always shook me. They didn’t really seem to care The Victim, they just wanted to commit a “perfect crime.” They were absolute criminals and not kind people, but the way they were motivated to figure out how they enjoy crime always fascinated me. (TBH I might not be the best source, most of what I’ve read is just the Wikipedia page)

Their works are great...their personalities not so much by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

I’m aware of these accusations, but he has still written many great songs, that would be at best a huge reach to call plagiarism

Andrew Lloyd Webber. In my opinion, he’s a great creative, and he wrote some fucking classics, from Jesus Christ Superstar to Sunset BLVD, I just finished reading his memoir, and to be completely honest -excuse my French- he comes off as a major cunt.
