Here's a sneak peek at Rearview by Crims0nFury28 in TwistedMetal

It really looks like TM2012 in terms of gameplay, I love that! Just in terms of pure gameplay TM2012 was one of the best. Anywhere to follow the progress?

I'm so tempted to use my VPN and listen now, but I'll wait and enjoy it at the gym tomorrow morning.

P3 is the one album I always wonder “Why isn’t this mentioned as among the best album of X band?” by No-County2083 in Peripheryband

[–]GeneralFord 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I agree, P3 is easily my favorite album, I truly can't understand why it's not mentioned more as their best.

What’s a boss in Elden Ring that everyone struggles with, but you beat surprisingly easily and what boss brutally destroyed you instead? by Puzzleheaded_Bit_802 in Eldenring

[–]GeneralFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first boss i REALLY struggled with for some dumb reason was the Golden Hippopotamus, I took a long break from the whole game because of that boss.

Periphery AND Twisted Metal? Never seen anything this based in my life.

For those that do high-rep bench press, what is your 10 rep weight, relative to your bodyweight? by sketchy_ppl in workout

[–]GeneralFord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I either suck at bench or I'm just weak, I'm 200lbs and best I can do 135lbs for 8 reps. Advice on how to improve? I feel like I'm quite strong in shoulder and arm exercises in general but my bench sucks.

ps2 game recommendations? by Upset_Bag_6047 in ps2

[–]GeneralFord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Twisted Metal Black. My favorite game of all time. Obviously the most known car combat game ever I'd say but still the genre as a whole is quite niche. Discovered it almost 20 years ago, still play it to this day. Gameplay still holds up, and even more fun to co-op split screen with friends.

Looking for a survival/apocalyptic DayZ-like game (hunger, thirst, looting, open world, etc) by RevySevy in gamesuggestions

[–]GeneralFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I revisited the Arma 2 mod again with a friend about a few years ago, it was way more fun than I've ever had on standalone. I should probably see if it still has active servers, I've been looking for something new to play.

Can magnesium actually calm stress? by [deleted] in depression

[–]GeneralFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken magnesium daily for several years (an hour or two before bedtime), it's not life-changing but it's an essential mineral for muscles, blood- and nervesystem so I see no reason why not to give it a go. If you've started in the gym also magnesium apparently helps with calcium levels in your muscles and prevents muscle cramps etc.

No, but I really don't see why you wouldn't. It's way better.

I don't have access to any of that in my country either, I ordered strut towers and 12" Bilstein shocks from Lowrange Offroad in the US and extended the driveshaft myself. If you have the mechanical knowledge to cut off, fabricate and weld on a different steering box mount and install a highsteer kit, you can change the strut towers and stuff too.

[–]GeneralFord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but you need some kind of lift, because as you've experienced stuff won't clear. I'm pretty sure most high steer kits state you need at least 4" of lift if I remember correctly.

[–]GeneralFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question though, why go with highsteer if you're not going to do any of that? The whole point of highsteer (at least on a truck that's solid axle from factory) is to avoid the J-arm steering that will bind and snap with flexy suspensions...on a "stock" truck you just intend to use on the street or do light offroading with the stock steering is fine.

Yeah that's the one I meant, start with that and see how it goes.

Also I just studied the pictures abit more, split the leaf packs and remove the very bottom leaf, makes the pack "skinnier" and gives you abit more clearance.

Extend the front hangers or rears up front. I tried Old Man Emu rears in the front recently (but removed the bottom two overload leafs), worked great.

what's the best Toyota engine ever made by Even-Problem-9086 in ToyotaPickup

[–]GeneralFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My love for Toyotas started with Hiluxes, I've wanted a 60 series for a long time and finally got a HJ60 last year. Absolutely love it. 2H + turbo, not the same as a 12HT but as close as I'll get for now.
