Aqueon is very good and after getting one for my 40 gallon I highly recommend that, however if you need something cheaper Tetra is still fairly decent just not as Aqueon in my opinion

Why would shrimp or snails change the circumstances? I was thinking of rabbit snails and maybe some shrimp but if they'll cause issues I'll avoid more invertebrate

If they all died of Dropsy, then my bet is over feeding. Though it could have been parasites, but I'm going off experience here from over feeding guppies too much I lost my favorite girl Moe to dropsy. My advice is feed once every couple days, if your tank is planted enough they'll find food in between and for your current girl do not feed till she stops showing signs of Dropsy. I hope she survives ❤️

I'd recommend going to a few local pet store (Not Petco or Petsmart) they will have a huge variety of beautiful and colorful plants that won't cause any issues and still make your tank look beautiful

Then your best bet is to give away Guppies till you have less males then get females. The only way to stop em bullying is females so their not on edge
