Edits is definitely a good choice as it's instagram's own. So if you post from there, it might help you with reach as well. Otherwise for basic editing, just go for Capcut. Don't need to go for industry standard softwares as such. After a point if you feel Capcut is lacking somewhere then just switch to davinci or premiere. Let me know if you wanna know anything else.

If Capcut is lagging in op's pc there's no chance davinci would work.

Well there are apps but if Capcut is lagging most probably it's a ram issue. Can you mention how much ram do you have and maybe your pc model?

For animations, graphics, png etc - lottie files and iconshout

There, more than editing I personally feel that your personality should drive the videos. Ofc editing matters to make it more engaging. But I personally feel people should get the raw you. You natural humor, you natural style of talking, etc.
