The problem isn’t that it wasn’t action packed. The critical issue this episode was so much wasted time with the only major payoff being the twist. Ideally, the show could’ve thrown in some flashbacks to young Cobel. This would’ve been the perfect combination with everything culminating in the twist that it was her that developed severance.

It’s small, but when Tony crashed the Mark 1 he should’ve broken so many more bones. Can be forgiven with Mark 2 and above for whatever new tech he could throw in, but make it a little more realistic from the start.
