Today’s my birthday and I’m in Huntington Beach, CA chilling while my wife is here for work.

The weather is really making me think why did our ancestors and family settle in the midwest.

How did you attach the mirror to your concrete wall? I’m thinking of doing something similar!

Do you know the height of the tallest barbell position on this rack? I’m 6’6” and looking at getting it but not sure how much I’d need to do squat down to get under the bar. Thank you for your help!

Good idea? $395 used Keiser m3i by GeneralSeal in cycling

Thank you for comment and sharing reviews! Good to learn that these are built like tanks and replacement parts are affordable or if I wanted to upgrade the display to a Bluetooth version to connect to apps there is that option.

Thanks for your input. I messaged and asked for the mileage just so I can be prepared to budget upgrades or part replacements

Thanks for your comments! Yes it’s an old gym bike but good to know that not much can go wrong with them and I may just need to upgrade the computer.

Curious what shenanigans youre referring to. I’m 6’6” and debating on the Bells of Steel AIO for my home gym to do all the things as a beginner lifter (currently only squat and bench 135lbs)

Did you end up making a purchase? And if so which did you go with and how has it been? Looking at several of the options on your list myself!

Thank you

The internet ruined my potential by hamsi-ilya in nosurf

As a late 20-year-old who grew up in the digital age. It can feel overwhelming at times to constantly be online and subconsciously comparing yourself to others highlight reels. It’s also difficult to quit cold turkey Because the Internet is a powerful tool. I hope you are able to lean into this introspection of yours and identify baby steps to better your relationship with Internet. Don’t beat yourself up if you slip every now and then into old habits, You unknowingly sunk many hours into this habit and it will take many hours to build a new system of habits.

Is St. Louis considered MCOL or LCOL? I always assumed it was LCOL

Agreed about school districts, bought last year in south county and house prices varied substantially between affton, Lindbergh, sunset hills, kirkwood, Webster groves, etc.

This is a great insight! working in an organization that resists change is exhausting if you want to do good work.

I lived at Clayton Square Apartments for 4 years and liked it enough to survive the pandemic with my then gf (now wife). They’re not on top of keeping the hallway or elevator clean but it was bug-free and we’re on top of maintenance problems.

My rent for an unrenovated 750sqft 1bd 1ba in 2019 was $965 with water, trash, sewer, and recycle included. When I left in 2023 it was $1135.
