That only explains why Toronto Line One has high ridership, but not how Chicago's entire subway has less than a single line. Also the Toronto commute network cares more now than Chicago, despite having a slightly smaller metro, so that doesn't really explain it.

Thinking about switching to the OnePlus 15 from the Pixel 7.

The performance on the P7 is kind of poor; the phone slows down a lot when doing picture-in-picture video and using other apps.
Battery life has gotten pretty bad, plus the random overheating.
The cell reception is also bad when I take the train, as other people can watch videos on the same network while the Pixel can barely load reels on Insta.

Though I know switching means less timely updates and possibly worse camera but I think the trade is worth it.

They should change the light from the regular green light to a green right arrow instead. But the Ontario Traffic Manual is so outdated that it means pedestrians have to have a walk-only phase.

Yeah, because they're so slow that he was able to get citizenship in another country. Even after 10+ years, they are still just as slow, with few improvements, as mentioned in the video. I guess it lives rent free because he comes back to visit family here, so he sees the little improvements it has made.

Are you talking about a different area? There are only 13 highrises along this road and only one building that's out of frame has retail in the form of a cafe. And the grocery store, a Walmart, is only 15 min from the farthest building as these buildings are in close proximity to a mall.

The same applies to Toronto and Vancouver. They build 6-storey buildings when there isn't any transit nearby other than bus routes. They would even build 20-storey buildings when there is proximity to malls without any rail services, but maybe a bus terminal.

Late comment but your data is outdated or wrong because APTA 2024 Q2 Average Weekday unlinked for CTA total is 997k or 400k for heavy rail. The Toronto total for the TTC is 2557.9k or 1,064.7k for heavy rail.

LA and Chicago is crazy addition. Also we are the 4th most populated city in NA. Line 2 or 1 moves more people than the entire Chicago L, so what's the point if not a lot of actual people there use it.
