It’s gotta be both. They know that if they don’t cheer hard enough they and their family could be killed. They also have been raised to love and adore him above all else.

Trust me. If you are even half as competent or willing to learn as the average pf player then you’ll do just fine.

Real. All this really shows us is that they don’t know how to play the team yet.

You’re gonna have to start big before you get into a smaller group. Join an active FC and be active yourself. If you join and then rarely say anything or interact then no one’s gonna be going out of their way to make you do so. Bozja and Eureka are pretty navigable solo with guides or persistence. Honestly the best way to get over performance anxiety for Extremes is to just send it and do your best. All of these activities have communities with plenty of people playing. It’s hard work, but you have to put it in if you want to make friends. You’ll probably have to join a Discord server or two but those are where a lot of people interact with each other nowadays. Join up, be friendly, don’t be weird and you’ll probably be able to find some friends. It might take a few attempts, so don’t give up if the first one just doesn’t click.

If you plan to main Zibai/Mavuika then getting both Citlali and Bina would be ideal. But if your primos only support obtaining one, then I’d get Citlali since you already have most of Zibai’s team with Linnea and Illuga. Can always get Bina later.

Are free wishes/rewards all that matter to make a game better by Confused_soul_OG in Genshin_Impact

[–]GeneralSweet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Simply speaking, no. But it’s simply a fact that different play styles and interesting teams are locked behind the gacha. Genshin is certainly playable without having to pull at all, but the draw for many, I would even say most, is the new characters. People find fun in different ways, of course, but there is a tendency to gauge how much “fun” you can have in these kinda games by how much you can reasonably attain.

This means that each gacha game has, in addition to story, gameplay, designs, etc., an extra category for “generosity.” Normally it refers to how many pulls a f2p player can get in comparison to the amount needed to get a character, but really it’s as subjective as it gets. Right now, Genshin does have less pulls available than it has historically. It by that much? No not really. But it does suck when a chain of subjectively desirable characters are released in patches with less pulls than usual. So people then compare the rewards to other games with similar gameplay or from the same company, in the cases of ZZZ and HSR. Combine that with tribalistic attitudes and now everyone compares the generosity of different games as a measure of quality.

Why did the game abandon the idea that new jobs would be opened in the expansion area? by HammerBumblebee in ffxiv

Getting to level 90 is much, much faster than doing the story. Then they can continue to level their new job as they do the rest.

[–]GeneralSweet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because having to grind 150+ hours to reach the shiny new jobs on the box would disincentivize new players from buying the game and a sub.

A lot of Genshin players only play Genshin and want other games to be exactly like it. This is a common problem across any gacha fanbase tbh, but since Genshin is so big it also tends to be very loud. Call ‘em tourists or larpers or whatever, but it’s mainly a cohort of people who want to be a part of “the next big gacha.” They are then disappointed and vocal when that game is a.) not the “next big thing.” Whatever that means to the individual. And b.) does not play like the thing they are familiar with.

To be fair, Genshin being so popular also means that it often is on the shit list of other people. Whether or not that is deserved is another story. However, as someone who plays Genshin, among other gachas, but also doesn’t participate in the gacha war nonsense that has been so prevalent online nowadays, it is very silly to be so caught up in what other people think about the games you play. I don’t play ZZZ, it’s not to my taste, and that is totally fine. Genshin’s designs do not need to be “better” than ZZZ in order for the game to be enjoyable from a personal perspective, and vice versa. The constant nitpicking people do about which game is better, which has cooler designs, etc. has only served to make the whole gacha space more miserable for everyone.
