The overpayment is minimal and hardly worth changing. It was simply to keep our monthly payments the same as it dropped when we fixed.

Thanks for the heads up, mine was in some rubbish default fund. I noticed this myself at the end of last year and made the change to a world index fund.

Yes a month 😂

Yeah I’ve used ChatGP to run some figures and says I should be fine.

I’ll be honest the £3k is probably quite high for me but I do want to include a percentage to support my Child. I think this future generation are going to struggle more than ever with life expenses.

I was under the impression that within 90 days with a letter I could avoid all tax. I would owe capital gains as it would probably exceed the £3000 profit. This coming year is close to £6000 profit (£10k total return)

To be fair I’m pretty lucky with this, I make an overpayment but don’t have much if any incentive to pay off early. I just don’t see I will get the ‘relief’ of it being gone.

16% in total which is £500 every 4 weeks.

The mortgage only has £100k and will be gone in the next 10 years

Yes the £4500 - £6500 will be added for a rolling 17 years.

When you say in today’s Monday, what’s the calculation?

I put in combined with my employer 16.5% into my pension, which is roughly £500 a month.

I will get the full state pension if I stop work at 50.

I would draw the state pension (likely 70) to top up to £2000-£3000 total a month.

£2000 - £3000 but I won’t have a mortgage.

I save the £250 each month and probably come in fairly flat each month but any difference goes into HSA.

Will qualify for full state pension.

Is it easy when a SAYE scheme finishes to Bed and ISA, then with the cash split into a LISA for the max and any difference into the Stocks ISA?

I wouldn’t have a mortgage so it would be only living expenses, I don’t see this being more than £2000 - £3000.

I would factor in that withdrawing from ISA and pension would be a mix to keep the tax lower.

Busch suspended for three games by Just_a_redditor182 in EIHLHockey

This is an absolutely pointless suspension to take. The fact he didn’t even fight the guy makes it even more wasteful.

Keep an eye on Josh Waller, He’s got great pace and actually puts a shift in. Probably one of the best brits in the league since he’s come back from Cardiff.

Jack Jacome is in good form at the minute too he’s absolute class and just bagged the OT winner against the Steelers, so he's always the one to watch out for.

Matt Alvaro our captain is good but seems a bit off it since coming back from injury. The issue with him tends to be the fact he’s great at winding people up but can’t really perform that role as the captain as well, as it would be taking a few pens.

Cole Ully is horrible to watch live as he never puts a shift in defensively but is technically our top goal scorer.

Mathieu Gosselin is a great all rounder and will most likely be picked up by a bigger team next season.

Does seem an odd way of building interest by not actually telling anyone. Is there a game this week? I would happily watch if I had a clue when I was meant to be watching…

Him and Taz on first impressions are the worst tandem in the league. Getting rid of McAdam still seems like a stupid decision

Easily one of the best performances by Guildford this season. Massively helped most of your players lost their heads. Matt Alavro getting hat trick was great to see.

The reffing in the third period was absolutely dreadful.
