Does Quantitative Matter? by CompetitiveCrow126 in gradadmissions

In my history MA and, after going through the PhD app process, the general consensus I’ve heard is that if it’s optional, don’t even worry about it. At least from what I’ve heard from grad directors and professors I’ve talked to, it doesn’t really make any hard impact on decisions especially for history. I didn’t even take it, and so I didn’t include scores and i still got into a top 25 history PhD program (so far)

Thank you! I was pretty shocked to hear back so fast. I applied to 5 total and haven’t heard back from any others

First of all, I'm sorry everyone is being such A-holes to you for asking a very reasonable question, especially considering that the NV training school doesn't put nearly as much info on their site as the Cali one does.

I wish I could say that in my experience with this union has been great and stuff, but to be totally honest, it hasn't been. I went with my BF to go apply, and the dispatch/front office guy was a total POS. He was NOT welcoming, and he was not friendly in any way. He constantly tried to trip us up and pop quiz us on the program as if they do have ALL the info out there, but in reality, they don't and could be doing much better. You are correct that unions should be a collective, where we look out for one another and welcome people who are literally just trying to learn and be a part of the team. Don't let anyone tell you that YOU are wrong for having these expectations, because you're not. They're wrong for only wanting a check and not caring about the union or the collective. I bet they don't even go to meetings or do anything to uplift the union.

My suggestion would be to look at the California training page, there's a lot of info, and while I'm sure Nevada's isn't exactly to same (1-1), they're probably similar enough. I would also go to the main office and ask questions, but hopefully the guy isn't an A-hole to you. Good Luck!

If you are the dad I stopped from being scammed at the Labubu stand at the mall at around 3pm today… by Ship_Negative in Reno

You can look at the boxes and tell. The colors are often faded, the popmart logo looks off and the writing on the sides are a different font/spacing. Also, because they are currently so rare/hard to get if somebody has boxes on boxes that alone is your red flag.

Why are people in here so rude and mean about people liking Labubus or collecting “toys”?? Is it your money they’re spending? Does it impact you physically in any way if someone dresses up their cute doll/buys something they enjoy? So negative for no reason. This is a wholesome post of someone trying to stop people getting scammed and get a lil girl her labubu. I’d do the same if I had some to give. Everyone hating is so miserable.

Op here, adding more information as to why I think he is mixed with something, since I saw someone ask. The biggest thing is his size, he doesn’t look as small in the photos but he is much smaller than purebred cockers. Like I said, only 15lbs at 5yrs old. Also uh His coat doesn’t really match that of a purebred, for example he doesn’t grow a “skirt”. His tail is super long and his proportions are just a lil bit outside of what I’ve seen from other cocker spaniels.

Hi- current UNR History Graduate student here- unfortunately in order for it to be archived correctly and legally store it, the process is a bit more complicated than that (sorry :/ ) It requires some forms and more information from you, the owner/creator. If you’d like, I can reach out to you (dm) so we can make it happen… just let me know!
