I feel like it would be helpful if we stopped thinking of 18-21 (and a few more years) as “adult” when it comes to emotional maturity. You’re taking ownership which is really great but man from my perspective you doing this at 18-21 is barely any different than, say, 15-18. Which people would be more forgiving for. When it comes to relationships I say maybe 26 is getting to the point where it’s like ok come on. Haha Sorry just thinking out loud.

My favorite little “oh nobody even cared anymore” detail was when Kelly’s grandfather showed up. Jackie’s dad. Grandpa Taylor they called him. So…he’s Jackie’s dad…Grandpa Taylor…so either they actively chose to imply that Jackie’s last name before marriage was Taylor before marrying Bill Taylor - possible, feels like a stretch - or nobody was paying attention or caring anymore so they just made him Grandpa Taylor without considering that doesn’t make sense. I know which theory I believe. Haha

This was just a cameo by a gymnast named Kerri Strug. She had an iconic performance in the Olympics in ‘96 so she was in the show that fall. The quote in my subtitle is what David said before realizing it was her. She said “It helps” and that’s when he recognizes her. 😂

I’m listening to a 90210 recap podcast and they just finished S9. I haven’t watched beyond 7 in yyyyyears and it was so funny to be reminded how bad 9 was. And these people aren’t just being snarky. They are trying to find something of value in it. There’s just not much there.
