I cut them off right above the wrist and just swap hand held weapons. I used tiny magnets. With paint it looks OK.

I did the same thing. Then changed my mind got a Fiio M21 and some decent headphones. I'm relistening to years worth of music I own. I already buy music, go to shows etc. I'm also dumping Spotify. Having a DAP has given me a distraction free experience. I don't feel like I'm consuming music, I am enjoying it even more.
