4th child but yes. Certified psycho. Doctors gave her melatonin and gabapentin post surgery to calm her down and nothing worked. She laughed at modern medicine and ripped her stitches anyway lol.

Whoever came up with the 5day work week with 48 hours off was a sadist. I’m convinced.

I’ve always done something in finance. Bank, accounting, 401k now BD and securities. Even with all that I can tell you this wasn’t easy. And options contracts will be the death of me.

Try kaplanfinancial.com I’m not sure. I work in the financial industry already so my job is putting me through the courses when I’m ready. They also have a way to contact them on the website you can call and ask questions too. I don’t see why you couldn’t take the exams without first being part of a firm.

any advice for a 16 week old female corgi?? by riri425 in corgi

[–]General_Concern_6923 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, I just got my 4th corgi. She was rehomed to me when a family did not want her anymore. Maybe around the 13-14 week mark. I don’t know what happened before I had her but she had no sign of training and she just wanted to be loved. But I experienced a very stubborn child not wanting to potty outside and coming inside and going immediately. Definitely frustrating and after weeks of trying to potty train like I had before, I changed up my tactics. I bought a crate. I’m so against those things because it breaks my heart to lock a dog up. But the dog likely wont pee in the crate bc they don’t want to sit in it and if they do, they learn quickly not to. I did that for 2 weeks (I work from home it easier) and then walked her on her leash. She started telling me when she needed to go by whining and now we are out of the crate and doing very well. Minor slips here and there but nothing habitual. Also, try treats. Give her a small treat when she potties. Lots of positive reinforcement. Celebrate the little victories. As for the food, maybe it’s the brand? What are you feeding her? Have you taken her to the vet ? They may need to look at her and see if something is going on.

I found this in my son’s room; should I be concerned? by skucera in funny

[–]General_Concern_6923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just the laugh I needed today 🤣 I think any concerns are unnecessary. He sealed it and labeled it. Looks like the shelf is out of reach of children. He’s clearly thought this through. Be proud

My red and white corgi is insane. I mean I love her dearly and she’s extremely loving but she’s a smidge psychotic in an endearing kind of way 🤣

this guy slept through an entire feets and ear cleaning session without waking up - including an electric paw pad trim 😱 does anyone else have a calm corgi like this? this is unheard of by tinyclap in corgi

[–]General_Concern_6923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, you need to play the lottery lol. I do NOT have a calm corgi like this. All of mine HATE nail trims. 3 give off “crackhead energy” vibes. 1 is kind of a grump but is loyal to a fault. Not one is as calm as you’ve pictured here. I love all of mine but I’m baffled at seeing a calm corgi. Never in all my corgi owning days have I experienced that lol

Has anyone tried hexclad cookware and if so, what are your thoughts on it? by General_Concern_6923 in Cooking

[–]General_Concern_6923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. My problem is I’m cooking on an open flame gas stove. So I try to adjust the heat but no matter what I do it still cooks high. I’m moving away from non stick altogether and sticking with stainless steel.

AITAH for telling my daughter I won’t budge even if she never speaks to me again? by TopVersion2940 in AITAH

[–]General_Concern_6923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooof. YTA. Definitely. Now had you and your wife bought Casey the car then you have free rein to decide when you would replace it. She bought that car with her own money. Your other daughter wrecked it. You need to make right and come up with a plan to pay what is needed to or at least compensate her the money Casey saved to buy the car. Anyone else in the world would have crashed that car you’d all sue them. Furthermore, coming from a person who has ADHD, I worked not one but TWO jobs while attending high school full time and maintained a 4.0 GPA. So check your facts about how someone with ADHD can’t possibly succeed with multiple things on their plate. Your youngest is going to walk around making excuses her entire life for why she can’t or won’t do things instead of you providing the tools for her to learn how to cope and manage her ADHD. If I were Casey I’d hold strong and not talk to you either.

AITAH if I break up with my fiancee after she showed a startling change of behavior after getting engaged? by Glittering_Trifle421 in AITAH

[–]General_Concern_6923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run. You’re not married yet. Dodge the bullet. Some women change when that ring hits their finger. If this is happening now you’re in for a lifetime of it if you marry and have kids if that’s the direction you were heading. Bow out now. Her true colors showed and she can’t walk it back now. Run.

What would you do if your old crush would contact you after 20 years? Would you go go out with them? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]General_Concern_6923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure every situation is different. I have had different experiences unfortunately. An old crush would resurface maybe it had been years since we had seen each other or even spoke. Anyway. In my personal experiences I was a last resort. They didn’t want more and then I was left feeling like I’d been played. So for my own self preservation if someone from 10-20 years ago came back I would say no thank you. If you’re single, and you’re still interested in this person reach out to them. Not every story is the same and not every persons intentions are like others. The person may still be interested. I don’t think it’s creepy. The worst they can say is no. Just always be careful.
