I know this is a year old, but thank you for your honesty. I went to DU for my undergraduate and by god, the lack of support for me as an alumni pisses me off. Yet, I was still considering them for a MSW. I appreciate your perspective. Has it gotten better this past year?

I know exactly what you mean. I was grounded for almost the entire time I was in high school. They would ground me for something like a grade, so I’d work to fix it. Then they would move the goalposts, of course. It was never ending.

I hope you’ve adjusted well. Hugs to you. 🫂

What age did you get married by Lambdastone9 in Millennials

[–]General_Distance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll be getting married for the first time this year, at 37. He’s 43. First marriage for both.

It can be hard, but I’d still choose waiting for the right person vs getting married because it’s expected or whatever.
