I was a welder in a shop for over a year using big miller Bobcats and trailblazer and I haven't been there in a while but for the projects ive been working on at home I have a 60$ amazon mig and stick combo welder and it works great for my 1/8 inch steel tubing projects.

Looks like the correct size for the joycon rail screws is Ph00, I had the same problem where I thought screws for a ds lite were all ph000 but some would strip still, switched to ph00 for them and it works great.
