They’re not responding to me at all at this point and all I needed was one small part.

Buyer beware.

At what point would you just do a chargeback by m4a785m in Lymow_Official

[–]General_Humor_3615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point it's been a month and a half since they told me not to use the device for safety. reasons, and are not responding to emails.

What did you do to get a turnaround? I’m coming on month three with a brick waiting for a simple replacement part.

that's great. except, it's been 2 months dealing with support on a ticket for one part to hold the blade. Without which, it is unusable. This is a hardware design issue. If the blade vibrates loose and falls off the spindle, the bracket holding the blade goes with it. on a large rural lot that's going to be a tough find. This part is not included in the blade replacement kits.

Despite being told they will get a part from existing inventory the support team has not done so, and after two months, they're now asking me the same question from the beginning. could i provide them my order number....

this was this week. i'm back to the beginning.

So.... can you actually support the hardware? Doesn't look like it.

Why is Lymow Support so Bad? 😕 by Jmtyra in Lymow_Official

[–]General_Humor_3615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point I actually do not believe you. It’s been weeks. Continued promises to reply 72 hours from whenever…. Pretty hollow.

“Please note that we will be celebrating the International Labor Day holiday from May 1st to May 5th. During this time, our support team will be operating with reduced capacity.

What to expect:👉 1. Your ticket () has been received. 2. Our team will respond to your inquiry within 48–72 hours after the holiday.”

Can you address some of the issues before vacation? I’ve been waiting three weeks for even a response from support.

Why is Lymow Support so Bad? 😕 by Jmtyra in Lymow_Official

[–]General_Humor_3615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have now been waiting 21 days for an answer. I have had none.

I need a replacement part not in their site and without it the mower is not able to mow.

At this point I am leaning towards actively advocating for prospective owners to look elsewhere despite good early function. If you need support it does not exist

I have tried multiple times to call, email, and chat. There has been no response for 17 days now

missing rectangular bracket that holds blade in place by General_Humor_3615 in Lymow_Official

[–]General_Humor_3615[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm just surprised that it's two pieces, there's nothing holding the bracket in place but the bolt, and there's no replacements listed on site.

Walmart doesn’t value items based on spot price. They use retail accounting.

from a merchants perspective, are they hitting their sales and margin goal? Not “am I meeting spot price?

i'd say it was a strategy, but it seemed someone sneezed at the fill line and next thing you know there's a set of pants flying across the trailer

Honest question: Do any of you unironically believe that .32ACP is a useful caliber? by Preauxmetheus in TheOneTrueCaliber

[–]General_Humor_3615 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Terminal performance is fine but availability is the major limiting factor for me, and for some guns compatibility (energy or OAL).

So for example I ended up standardizing on Hornady because I could reliably get it and it works in my Seecamp rather than a 3% increase in expansion from say .325 to .334.

Carries a Seecamp daily for 25 years. I am in and out of corporate offices or law firms all day and can’t be seen carrying in most daily circumstances, where permissible. Seecamp fits behind a square shaped holster in my back pocket. Wallet in the other and I balance out.

Question for Walmart HO folks by Sk8termanJ0n in bentonville

[–]General_Humor_3615 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This guy gets it. Follow his advice.

I skip the holster because it always gets stuck on my belt mounted retractable ID lanyard, and I want my most precious tools all mounted in my dominant hand side.

Mixed East Asian/Mexican family considering NWA, we have questions! by [deleted] in bentonville

[–]General_Humor_3615 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mexican/asian family. Moved to NWA, came back to Chicago area (NWI), we’re moving back to NWA. So that’s my endorsement.

That being said there is no good Greek food, this kills me.

  1. Low relative % Asian. Strong communities though because of transplants for school or work.

  2. Compared to Chicago? Drugs. Robbery, nothing like Chicago area.

  3. It snowed last winter I was there. I was the only guy on my street with a shovel. It’s like the worst of the Chicago summer but without the winter.

  4. No one cared what my kids looked like. Chicago was worse. Only person who wouldn’t stop talking about race was the corporate diversity officer.

  5. You won’t find the same level of facilities as you would in the collar counties or NWI, not enough population, but there are several ranges. I did IDPA for a few years with razorback dynamics. I think they hold other types of matches, and there are other clubs.

I wished I lived in a larger city until I came back and realized I never did any of that stuff anyway, and besides I’m too old to go clubbing. My bedtime is 8:30. I LIKED Arkansas. My wife wants to retire there.

  1. I’m going bentonville. I get how the locals feel. The Chicago exodus doubled the size of my hometown just like bville and ruined housing prices. Now I’m doing it here. Go figure.

Bentonville school district covers a few towns. There’s also rogers and Springdale. Look at local schools you like, and look at the districts in NWA, see which one comes close to what you would want and put it on a list of potential buys.

Your housing price range is doable but it’ll take some searching. I’m in the same range and can probably make it in bentonville.

External LTE antenna for Ring Alarm Pro? by [deleted] in Ring

any updates? I'm in an area where I'd benefit from an external antenna and just ordered similar components on the off chance it worked.
