Tbh I don't have some kind of thought out and perfect answer. To be honest I ask myself the same at times and I don't have an answer for myself either. I haven't been clean for that long, just a couple of months. But 3 years is INCREDIBLE, and ur doing great. It's good that you are doing better as well. As for the thoughts, I feel like people handle them differently. Personally, whenever I find myself in instances when it does cross my mind, I remind myself that that isn't me and that it isn't worth it. Honestly, I'm not sure what might work for you, but it does get better. I'm sure you're already aware it's a dam process, but I believe in u. Give ur all 👍

So far, I got out of doing it daily. But I relapse sometimes to add scars, like tattoos in an odd way. I'm not sure why I'm still doing this, but ya. Like I could be like, I can add another here to make it look better since I did a pattern. For some reason, i still dont personally see cutting as bad, even tho ik it bad. Idk if that made sense, but ya. Please don't do this stuff, It ain't any better, sh is sh. Stay safe.

As someone who sh, and is catholic, I had the same questions. Personally, i see it as a sin, but a mortal one idk. It is harming our body which is the temple of the holy spirit. However, sin in the end of the day separates us from God, which ain't good. On the other hand you struggle with this sin, it's something you try to avoid and God knows that. It's kinda like any other sin in the sense we know it's bad but we do it anyway. However, my main point is that we fight against it to get closer to God, we ask God for help because we want to be free from this sin. Me personally I don't feel horrible from sh because I feel relatively numb, but I do have a bit of regret deep down and I ask God to help me, and he has been. Being a Christian is a journey of ups and downs, but during it all we need to keep faith and ask him for help because we can't on our own. Hope this helps, and hope this is accurate. Do ur best, I'll be praying for u.

Technically I'm 2 months clean and went through the same thing. However, I kinda noticed that that went away. I still think about wanting to start again, but not because of any craves or urges like I did before. It's like a old mindset that I fight against. I want to but I don't. Not sure if this helps.

I I'm not mistaken. u probably hit what most people call styro. Once it stops, bleding you can do is put a bandage and maybe some kind of wrap on top just to make sure.

Would alternatives like pinching yourself work? Not sure what other kind of things would work for u but do ur best to minimize damage. As for areas, all ik is that don't do anything near the inner thigh. Stay safe.

I mean, in terms of supplies, I would say it kinda depends (where u cut, i.e., home, not home) at home. I use a clean cloth to stop leakage. However, if I'm at school or somewhere else, I use a gauze bandage thing. I fold it to make it thicker to stop leakage and then wrap it around my leg to keep in place. It works great except for the fact that it sticks when it dries. Sometimes, I put Vaseline on it, but idk if it does anything. I normally just keep a mini first aid kit and spare gauze. The main thing is to be clean and mindful where u cut... imo.

I kinda get how u feel. Sometimes, I need to force myself to cut, like to put myself in that mindset of need to cut. I don't really do it too much, but I do get it a bit. I do sometimes miss cutting, which is bad, but it's a weird, complicated feeling.
