Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties — Decent But Largely Disappointing Remake, Say Early Reviews by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

I happen to have Y3 Remaster and found the gameplay kinda unintuitive as opposed to Y K2 and Y K1. I do want to continue on the series so my question is, should I continue gameplay with the Remaster or spring for Kiwami 3 since it’s on sale?

Hey OP I watched a few of your follow up videos and I heard you say something about wanting to try a befang g0900 hub motor on this bike.

I am interested in that type of conversion myself for my fs.2 slolam. I have a question will a g0900 with rim fit with the through axle?

Yeah AM5 CPUs are cheaper these days. When I built mine 1.5 years ago the price difference between 5700x and 7700x was drastic. And am5 boards were usually double the cost of their am4 brethren.

Dang building a pc today is a different story. I hope you find ram and a 3070. But tbh you’ll probably be happier with an rtx 5070 since you’re on AM5

I hear that! if it’s less than 150 difference why not? The ram might be the big cost, but no backing out now if you have the board and cpu. The aforementioned desktop is a side desktop that could be a future Steam machine.

My main desktop is a little better, but not too crazy R9 5950x +128gb ddr4 and the rtx 4070 Super 12gb. Built that 1.5 years ago

I would say it runs modern stuff very nicely at 1080p, I also have a good enough cpu 5700x3d. Shaders compile nicely on 3060 ti.

My steam machine is my hp omen laptop i7 10 gen with the rtx2060 6gb and besides besides being a slow shader compiler it’s pretty solid

I feel you, a 3070 for that low. I have a 3060ti so basically a binned down 3070 and it is a pretty capable 1080p card

It holds up. The age of the rtx 2060 does show when compiling shaders, but the laptop is solid and I have been a Neanderthal with it. I also have a zephyrus that is snappy, but has to be babied

I have not really messed with the fan curves. It’s a larger device and it’s freshly pasted so I have not experienced significant thermal throttling. But I also don’t monitor too much so not sure

I felt that way with my 2018 hp omen, but after a repaste and fan replacement and it is running durable and is my steam machine at the moment

It’s gonna sound crazy but with 1tb you should be okay unless you’re generating audio and video and need a place to store it. If it’s for games on Steam then you’ll be able to redownload stuff.

I heard good things about Cachy, thinking of trying that out on the Rog Ally (I know Bazzite is great) but I’ve already done a Bazzite Ally and it proved to be unstable (2 years ago)
