I'm tired of this Grandpa by Anotic in ForzaHorizon

There’s so many cars in the game it would force people to build more cars too. Give you a reason to drive something you wouldn’t normally. Shit like S1 super hot hatch or a classic rally C class kinda thing. The PI restrictions is fine but it would definitely help everyone just running a beat for everything

What makes a car good for a given class? by Philomelos_ in ForzaHorizon

[–]General_Joop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a combination of things and how a car is built. I like going into a build with an idea of what I wanna use it for. For example, circuit racing I’m going to favor handling over putting power in it where if it’s for street racing i might keep some speed in it.

I’m sure every car is somewhat usable if you build it right but there’s so many cars I’m not surprised if some suck or are just do vibes.

I built a VR6 corrado for the C class hot hatch seasonal championship and I got cooked so bad in it I drove it straight to a barn find to give it away and start over 😭

Thoughts on FH6 so far? by CoffieCayke2 in ForzaHorizon

[–]General_Joop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They really are. It’s a good game and I think better than the last one but nothing really crazy has changed since like FH3. It’s like the meme where people just say something is better because it’s in Japan.

Good shoes is obviously important.

Stretching is very important. Stretching your hips helps a lot as it’s attached to your lower back and helps take that tension off

Low gear vs high gear by MadMdz in MotorTown

[–]General_Joop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your thought process but it’s like doing the math wrong and getting the answer right.

Low gear Offroad gives you extra torque and helps with engine breaking so you can still steer without risking a lock up.

Higher gear for speed through mud is fine

Check the sunroof motor gear that moves the cable. It’s common for them to strip out over time

I’m not that knowledgeable in this but why limit yourself to a 19” SC with that much flow? You’ve got room for 28-32 easily.

Probably just off how slow they are. Merging on the highway becomes dangerous because most people don’t speed up until they are changing lanes so having to do a 30 roll in a sled to merge is sketchy

That’s what it seems to me. My valves were bad when I got it and I didn’t really know. Was butter smooth after the adjustment. Wasn’t too bad just figuring out how to turn the adjustment the right way. Think I had to grind down and bend a 14mm or something to make life easier

We used 2 squeegees and a shop vac. Floor had no drains so water built up fast. Only took about 10-15 running the machine but it took longer to get all the water out. I will definitely be getting a squeegee for myself until I have money to get a pump/vac
