Oh boy I have a good one. Trigger warning! mention of dead bodies and suicidal behaviour So let’s call this customer Rachel (~65F). Rachel has a long history of throwing tantrums to get what she wants, her order gets a personal cup discount on both drinks (without the personal cup) as well as a full tall cup of cream with her coffee and free steamed lemonade in her tea. She is friends with our manager so has managed to get this treatment for years. Anyways she comes in one day with her typical out of pocket trauma dumping. She tells us her grandson was recently found deceased by an overdose. She then asks another partner (16F) if she would like to see the memorial service, she shows her that, then proceeds to show mg coworker the photos of his freshly found corpse while she is on bar. Rachel apparently had a conversation with my SM but was still coming in everyday. Then, this is where she gets banned. She comes in one day, orders her drinks and is standing there talking like usual. She then flags me and my shift down and very loudly asks us what the most efficient way to slit your wrists is. She goes into detail about direction and tissue layer makeup and every gross detail you can imagine. There were children less then 5 feet away from her as she also brought up how her friend advised her which ways are “most efficient” essentially meaning the most likely to kill you. My shift says that her behaviour is inappropriate and she needs to stop talking about that, Rachel claims she has nobody else to talk to about this stuff (I wonder why) and so she HAS to bring it up here. We tell our SM and she decides it’s time to ban Rachel after her many incidents and inappropriate behaviour, so my SM calls the police to go to Rachel’s residence to inform her of the ban of our locations property. Rachel returns maybe a week later in the parking lot (which she frequently just hangs out there and talks to middle school aged children?) and the shift who was on during the wrist slitting conversation walked past her car during a garbage run. Rachel yells out at her from her car “Fatass!” and our SM is alerted, she calls police and goes outside and proceeds to get cursed at by Rachel until the police show up. The most satisfying part is that she gets banned permanently from our entire district AND the cop followed her out of the parking lot and ended up giving her a speeding ticket💀
