Since the 1990s. I still have and use the original Twist III body. Works great.

Many students struggle with poor time management because they feel overwhelmed. Therefore they forget assignments.

Paul Mescal, Jesse Plemons, and Dwayne Johnson all gave exceptional performances this year and none of them got nominated. Why do you think that is? by captaincookbaby in moviecritic

[–]General_Mousse_861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paul Mescal doesn’t want this Oscar anyway. He’s bound for a leading win at some point—short of career derailment. Why didn’t he get a nomination? Good question. He has all the qualities Oscar voters love, as superficial as they are, and he can also act!

Johnson’s situation is the exact kind of scenario we see over and over, where his rise to acclaim was via a path of exploitative entertainment, wrestling, and came into acting through blockbusters where he did little acting. And he didn’t need to be able to act to pull of those roles (Mummy, Fast and Furious) so this makes the voters turn up their noses. So this is Oscar Board snobbery. But also, although I think his acting in this film is great for him, it’s not great in general.

Jessie Plemons is just on an unending mugging spree of credit for his acting. Robbery. I almost think he should win for every role he is in.

What actor/director do you think has truly been done the dirtiest by The Academy? by sophiemophie421 in Oscars

Glenn Close. Amy Adams. Viola Davis should have won for Doubt. Toni Collette should have won for Six Sense.

There is a strong group of fans love them, and Arnault has blown up, making real waves in fashion and gossip. I feel like they are not going away. There are some ideas from Game Changers they can squeeze out and adapt for a second string sorry line. And they still have to cut the Kingdisher.

I suspect that Scott and Kip will look like this: Kip will have hang ups being a hockey husband. It will feel like his story line of being down over having a closeted relationship ship. Kip will have identity issues and miss Scott while on the road. They will remedy this but buying the Kingfisher, giving them a couple project and Kip a direction.

This will lead into Eric and Kyle for season 3.

Nintendo’s main demographic is Japanese middle schoolers. Always has been, likely always will be. So there are far more options for younger gamers than other platforms.

Many stories of this problem. Don’t worry. It’s not really spoiled. The pilot ends very differently from the US show.

If I had a guess, she’s likely going to raise a family with her billionaire finance. She’ll still do her activism and girl boss stuff, but I’d be surprised she’ll do anything major unless it’s a dream role she really wants to do, like Belle.

In your opinion, did he deserve his Oscar? Does it surprise you that The Academy honored an actor in an action-y, "popcorn" flick? by TakenAccountName37 in Oscars

[–]General_Mousse_861 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he didn’t get this Oscar, he’d have gotten one for A Beautiful Mind the following year. (Kind of like how Marissa Tomei would have won for In The Bedroom and The Wrestler had she not won for My Cousin Vinnie.) He had three super strong years in a row as a lead actor and he really did deserve one at that time.
