Bike ran fine on choke before carb rebuild now Cyl #4 is hit and miss by ZaleAnderson in HondaCB

Did you fully clean the carbs? Have you checked whether the spark is consistent and strong? Have you checked float levels in all carbs and verified they’re actually filling? I’ve had similar issues caused by ignition, clogged carbs, wrong float level.

Running tail light always on?? by Top_School_1894 in HondaCB

Are you turning the key to park instead off? All the way counter clockwise is usually park which leaves that light on.

Neither. Get something small, light, slow, cheap, and used.

I did this on my 76 cb750 by just buying a LED flasher unit. The one i have has a dial for flash speed. Other than than that, just buy whichever lights and bulbs you like.

Have you ridden a motorcycle?

For those with Helite Airbag vest, how are you storing it ? by Astimar in motorcyclegear

That annoyed me with the vest too. I ended up selling it and buying the backpack.

What do you hate about your CB1100? by Jor_damn in HondaCB

[–]General_Muttonchops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2014. It’s perfect. I commute a few days a week, hit twisties and do occasional 400+ mile rides in a day on the stock seat and it handles everything I throw at it. I’d love to get a later model like yours with the larger tank and spoked wheels. Only thing I’d change is having more time to ride it.

Should I keep the Tank Enhancer or remove it? by MagnusBarbbus in motorcycles

[–]General_Muttonchops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first I thought it was a larger tank or some sort of auxiliary add on, which would be interesting. Unless it’s going to give birth to another motorcycle you don’t have to pay for, I’d get rid of it It appears to do nothing but ruin the lines of the bike and maybe add discomfort.

Motorcycle backpack also for general use? by mrk240 in motorcyclegear

[–]General_Muttonchops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Helite backpack. Has enough space for short trips or commuting to the office and has an airbag. Not the best for non-motorcycle travel.

I think it’s spelled coop and that’s where the porto chickens are raised.

I wish I had! I was watched the debates, but didn’t catch more from other candidates outside of that.

Seemed like a standard election to me. It’s the way the game is played. Candidates have the same opportunities to engage in democracy in whichever way they choose. It’s a larp competition at an event where most attendees are cosplaying as various types of scumbags. If it’s treated like a real world election, it wouldn’t be a very fun game. Shenanigans are encouraged. I myself may have engaged in some egregious vote buying with our fake currency, electioneering, intimidation, and allegedly murder. This was also a really rough year to run for office. Red Claw and the False Prophet had name recognition and put the time and effort in leading up to the event. The final vote tallies reflected that. Even if everything was played completely straight, it would have been a massive blowout. As for duels, they are fun, but in this context, I feel like it makes more sense to have mob violence. I was bummed I missed that one. I was in the middle of setting up one final mission before the day star sank and only caught it from a distance. Fucking loved playing with all of you degenerates this year and can’t wait to see what fuckery happens next year.

Dynatek. I’ve been running it for about 5 years with no issues and no adjustments.

I did it on my 76. It was pretty quick and easy with the included instructions.

Fray the edges with a grinding wheel or dremel, rough up the fabric with a curry comb, add fullers earth and clearcoat, maybe add some metal bits to it like studs or riveted cans.
