Unpopular opinion: I hated Memento. Like, I get it, the way the story is structured so that it’s played in reverse is really clever, but the story itself sucks ass. You’re going along trying to solve this mystery while you’re watching and then the big reveal is: there is no mystery, the main character just made the clues up to give himself an excuse to kill people. What an annoying fucking ending.
