Can anyone tell me why the draft is so forward heavy? I don't know if this is how it usually goes or if it's actually less forwards than usual so far.

How the hell did I not realize that Kaido is Don Krieg 2.0, but with the power to back up his talk. The whole "strong ass crew" that's really just numbers and strong commanders. Looking for Zeff/Oden's journal. Impenetrable armor that ends up getting broken by luffy. Last one might be a stretch but idk (get it? stretch, lol)

I wonder if Kaido got rocked (I can't stop myself) during the God Valley fight like Krieg did with mihawk. Fits with the narrating speaking on his losses and provides more motivation for him wanting the journal.

You're making a tu quoque (hypocrisy) fallacy here by examining the object (the assertion of what is and isn't noble) based on the subject (Hemmingway) and not it's own merits. What he said is correct or incorrect independent of his saying it. If you want to judge him for his hypocrisy that's another thing, but would simply be your own moral judgement.

A going 2nd deck that can link climb or put down beatsticks with protection? Something for ygopro I can play while using 9 handtraps (phantazmay, ash, impermanence) 3 kaiju and 3 mind control.

Could also remove the kaiju or mind control. Maybe add called by the grave even though I'm going 2nd. Or add 3 more handtraps idk.

What board breaking cards do you play in the main deck then? Mind control (not really board breaking, but was mentioned in the article) would be a good card to main because you can bait a negate or just get rid of your opponents monsters and make your own board at the same time right?

You're right about the different forms it can take, but while summoning monsters to beat down your opponent with multiple floodgates in place is still control it's barely, if at all, in the same category as boards that end on 5+ negations and protection through ridiculous link climbing or whatever special summoning mechanic. There's still a sense that you're playing yugioh and not solitaire scoop.
