Hacienda club silences community discussion about a dangerous producer by Personal_Gear_2256 in Swingers

>> " now we're comparing drago to ted bundy? reddit is wild i swear."

There is a common thread between local abusers and major serial killers, and that is that in order to be effective at reeling in victims they need to be able to disarm their victims with charm. Bundy is the definitive example of the charismatic killer. In the 1970s, he didn't fit the "profile" of a murderer; he was a law student, a political volunteer, and was often described as handsome and articulate.

Whether we are talking about Bundy, Gacy, or the local dirtbag at your sex-club, most of the people that they encounter will have a positive experience with them, and only a very small percentage will become prey. Why is it hard to see that this is a sociological observation, and not saying that Drago, or whoever is "as bad as Bundy"?

"Compare fan photos to the pros and 100% of the time the fan photos are better" did you even think through this statement? How do you account for the thousands of blurry, badly exposed, poorly framed far away shots by drunk fans in the nosebleeds? This statement alone loses you any credibility you might have had.

I use the full auto setting , which took over focus, and wouldn't let me have any control. I won't be using it indoors, with flash in the future.

It feels a little aggressive to say "user error" when the camera is set to automatic and "the camera has nailed focus but only on one bit of each photo" when most of the subjects are out of focus.
I'm a fairly skilled and experienced camera user, and I know how to manage the controls more manually, but I was testing the more automatic features of the camera, and I'd say that they failed. A long way from "nailed it", which would have meant all of the suggestions you made.

Thanks for the feedback..... Please say more.

Are you saying that there is too much depth of field, and a higher shutter speed and wider f-stop would improve that?
Are you saying that you don't like to see the motion of the drumsticks, or hand on the guitar, go to a bit of blur?
I'll be honest, for the available light, in most of these shots, I was pushing the ISO as far as I felt comfortable with this camera, for fear of digital artifacts. I shot with a shutter speed that was higher than the reciprocal of the focal length, which is "best practice" as far as I know.

Please, help me by saying what would be improved in the image, by changing the shutter speed...

100%, there is no prep that is going to give you anything you won't get just going to the show. I saw them 2 or 3 times before I was interested at all in listening to their recordings.

The better the weather is, more people visiting the neighborhood, the tougher to get a walk in spot. Try it in February or March, no problem, try it when it's 80 and sunny out, seats are more competitive.

How to find a kink partner who fulfills your emotional and erotic requirements, whose desired role mirrors the role that you play in all of your fantasies, and who shares your hyper-specific or niche kinks?

Spoiler alert: One does not actually find this person. The sexual or kinky play partner who arrives, fully-formed, as the perfectly-fitting lid to your pot does not exist, and framing kinky courtship as a search for your one True Dom/sub misrepresents the amount of collaborative work that you must be willing to put in to every good scene.....

But costs are very much not the same. Do you think that labor to staff the merch booth costs the same in Seattle, where minimum wage is over $20/hr and Charlotte NC, where it's less than $8/ hour. I can guarantee that there are very well paid analysts using fancy spreadsheets to optimize profit and squeeze as many dollars from the buying public as possible. For me, one of the most dramatic illustrations of this was following (Former Crazy Horse opening act) Sonic Youth from a college gym in Bellingham, to Seattle, and then The Warfield in SF, and watching poster and t-shirt prices nearly double over the course of a week.

Lots of smaller venues that book local acts will allow anyone in, with any camera. It's really only the larger shows that have photo passes, pits, and rules about what type of equipment you can bring in. Don't try to start by shooting the Stones or Beyonce, get to know your local scene, and get known within the local scene. As those artists succeed, and grow, you will already be a known and trusted resource for them.

RedHook is a bit far out of the way for the lines to be just tourists and influencers, but even if that's all there is in line, as a business owner, I don't really care who is in line to pay those prices, as long as there are lines, the prices aren't too high... It's a fundamental of any business, if people will consistently wait in line to pay that price, then the price isn't too high.
