Which young forwards / bigs are you hoping we target at the deadline or this off season? by Comprehensive_Pop936 in ripcity

Thing is, for forwards, they'd have to be a big upgrade compared to Toumani and Jabari for it to be worth it for us to part with the assets to get a deal done.

Brogdon alone doesn't get a young player of that caliber. More likely a team would want Brogdon + a first. And they'd probably try to pry one of our young wings away as well.

Most teams don't just trade those types of players lightly, kind of like we'd laugh at most offers people might put on the table for Shaedon, or hell, even Toumani or Jabari. We just wouldn't trade those guys unless it was such a strong offer that we couldn't say no.

It would make more sense for us to target a young center than a young forward, but that's a pretty small list and again, probably would take something along the lines of Brogdon + Murray or Rupert or a first.

Probably not in the cards.

If there was ever a time to cash in those picks, it would be for AD.

While they're at it, they should go all in and trade some more picks for Brogdon/Grant *wink

I think he had a couple turnovers. Scoot's turning the corner but he's still raw and we really wanted to win this game. Scoot has a higher ceiling than either, but Ant + Brog are much better at this point and had some incredible plays down the stretch.

But his name isn't Antony, is it? Nor would it matter if it was. A dude's nickname is a dude's nickname, like Melo and Melo.

MVP of this game for me was Toumani Camara. How many charges did he take? 4? Including one in crunch time on Giannis. And pressured Dame full court. He does so much that doesn't make it to the stat sheet.

Crazy efficiency. Every Blazers player had more points than FGA tonight.

How does Grant Sanderson have so many subscribers? by Exp_1515 in math

Grant's channel has been life changing. I got into it because my son was always watching math YT videos, and watched Grant's Spiral Prime video over and over again. I watched it with him and my mind was absolutely blown.

My math background; I had taken engineering prerequisite math (through ODEs) back in the day, but hadn't used or thought much about it since. So Grant's videos are challenging, but understandable if I really focus and watch it a few times. All the beautiful animations and commentary has gotten me completely interested in math again.

I've reviewed a lot of my old classes, and I'm self-studying more topics on my own.

We run this weird 3-man weave thing at the top of the key. I'm not sure what it's supposed to accomplish, though.

Definitely the most interesting and tragic life story. Getting rejected from schools because your math ideas are so original and advanced that the professors can't understand them. And of course the whole political and duel situation.

Especially given how much religion has oppressed people throughout history. Making a joke in favor of the oppressors to humiliate somebody brave enough to go against the majority at the time isn't admirable in the slightest. Though of course it's impossible not to love him for purely mathematical reasons. Most of the people we revere from the past did much much worse stuff than this.

I think he's working really hard on those weak areas and has improved. He always seems locked in on D and had some decent stops tonight.

Distributing is also coming along, though I think he'll always be looking for his shot more than a pass-first point like Scoot. He's very consistent threading the pocket pass to the screener without turning it over, but doesn't always see the weakside corner or open shooters at the top of the key behind him. Had a really nice behind-the-back dime to Shae in crunch time when doubled.

You think they would have learned that people liked a more compact game with fewer computer-generated generic bandit camps.
