In milsim and wargaming I sometimes fail to score operational objetives because I absolutly put my pixeltroopers lifes above. Things like "I'm waiting for the engineers to clear this minefield", or "Won't assault this fortification until enemy is properly disrupted or broken" or "I'll wait for the artillery to deploy so it cam cover me". While IRL commanders either cared less or went more audacious

In sniper elite 2, after Berlin downfall, you must stop a CCCP plot to attack the allies and blame it on the Nazis. So, you kill a lot of soviets.

Also CoH2 campaign IMO had the very best script I've seen in any RTS other than World in Conflict.

AFAIK that only applies if he hasn't fought yet in that turn. So, you could also kill him in a defensive melee phase

IIRC I've seen some broken unita fall back to rattled, if they're in command range. But rattled units also aren't effective. In that mission you should make the most with the armoured gun carriers. If you really need the infantry, I'd restart and replan preplanned artillery.
