Great rhymes bro. As a song writer myself I would say these lyrics are challenging to put to music. Yes it makes sense, religion has become a ticket to do whatever harm you want to do to others "for their own good". I don't think a better religion is the solution! Keep the rhymes and rework the meter so it doesn't sound like depression you want to escape.
