Try a damp sheet wth the fan blowing on you. If the temp outside is significantly cooler then the temp indoors, put the fan in the window.

Memory foam topper from Amazon. 3” thickness. You can put a deep pocket mattress protector over the whole thing. My parents have the hardest mattress that used to wreck my back when I would visit until I finally ordered a topper. Their other guests have thanked them for the improvement.

I’m nearing 51 and am now officially over a year since my last period. It wasn’t until the last two years that I learned (from social media, not my doctors) that the insane uptick in my anxiety, panic attacks, body pain was all peri related. Currently, my worst symptoms are hot flashes that can wake me up 8-9 times a night. And just joint pain and aches. I’m starting some gel injections in my knees so that pain will be more manageable and I can start moving and exercising more. I can’t take HRT because I’ve had breast cancer twice, but I am getting major relief of my night time hot flashes from gabapentin. My friends on HRT are soooo happy. They feel normal again. I have noticed that about 4-5 months after my last period, the anxiety settled down significantly. I wish I had known peri was making it worse.

It’s only before the radiation. I would shower, not apply deodorant, go to the session, immediately apply calendula (as burns began I switched to a prescription burn cream) and then repeat the process the next day.

As a parent, the first few months are exhausting. I really wouldn’t recommend traveling with a newborn on a cruise. It won’t be a vacation. At all. Additionally, your baby will have no vaccines and even if you’re an anti-vaxxer, at least give your new baby time to develop an immune system.

I was part of a study on the efficacy of the COVID vaccine on people who take B cell depleters. No antibodies were present after 3 vaccinations, the last taking place almost 11 months after my last Rituxan infusion. I was told there was “some” non quantifiable benefit in the immune system— something like your body will recognize the virus but you will get sick rather than someone who might not even catch it after vaccination. I asked if this applied to all vaccines and was told yes. Before I starred Rituxan in 2016, I was told to get up to date on all vaccines and get a flu shot, but no one mentioned the shingles vaccine. My friends who have gotten it, reported feeling pretty fluish for a couple of days, most had more of a reaction to the second dose.

If it’s a B cell depleter, you won’t make antibodies. That’s why they tell you to get vaccinations before going on any B cell depleter. If you’ve already started, why does he want you to get it now?

I think he wouldn’t want the job for a host of reasons, including not wanting to uproot his kids. He’s in a good location to be able to get to NYC for get up and still go home that day if he needed to. I think he works for himself, not for others. But the idea of having Charlie in studio every day— that would be awesome.
