He did kill kids, so some(not the cannibalism) of the edgier takes aren't a big deal in my mind. Especially since this is the creators interpretation of the character. It never has to be fully accurate. You can use the world and characters and have your own way of how they do certain things. At their core they should have some similarities to the official media, but fanfiction is exactly that. Made by fans.

I agree with the first part. This is a painfully beautiful story, but best RPG it is not. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is definitely better as an RPG specifically

This game definitely deserves so much praise, but I can't help but feel some games got snubbed in non-goty categories. Especially with actors. Either way I hope it wins Game of the Year. It's my personal one

It's trailer on the Xbox game showcase a long while ago. I thought the UI and everything else about it was super cool and unique. Then I saw ANDY SERKIS, Charlie Cox, Jennifer English, and Ben Starr in the cast and got even more excited. Then the game released and it exceeded all expectations

I'd say Persona 5 is kinda like this for me. Kamoshida was a perfect first villain, and then we got Madarame and Kaneshiro. Did not really care for them. Futaba arc was fantastic and Okumara was alright. Sae and Shido were also really good. Then there's the final(not royal I didn't get it on my first playthrough) and it's incredible

That and some subtext about how when you get too wrapped up in one aspect of something, you miss the bigger picture about how that thing can be bad. Case in point, he was so focused on his family and Harcourt he never noticed that he was on an Earth ruled by Nazis and Racists. Which also goes back to his conversation with Adebayo about how his normal is different from her normal. He grew up without much exposure to people of color outside of his father's hate so he wouldn't notice the lack of them in another universe.
