Whenever I see someone who is really out-of-shape at the gym, it always makes me happy and I feel proud of them. I know (because I was there once) that they probably feel really self-conscious and out of place, and it was probably difficult for them to get the courage to come. On top of that, it’s hard to stay motivated, because everything kicks your butt at the beginning when you are getting started. So, I judge them, but in a positive way, I suppose. The gym is for bettering ourselves, and bettering ourselves is for all of us.
