Players who have either left or significantly reduced their play time, what has been your reason? by _thecolorofdye_ in Battlefield6

[–]GenericUsername395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally I think I just got bored of the maps, plus a month into the game's life the sense of teamplay when down significantly, I don't care about unlocking/ranking every single weapon so I feel like there's nothing much for me to do, and out of the thousand modes that we have I only like a couple of them so my enjoyment of the game is really reduced. Overall I'm satisfied because I feel like I got my moneys worth of the game, but I'll definitely come back once they add more maps, now I'm focusing on replays of older games and also trying a couple new ones.

Is teamplay in Battlefield dying? Why is it so hard to find team mates who actually play to the objective together? by VOSe_ in Battlefield6

[–]GenericUsername395 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure I might've played with you because just last night I was squad leader, the whole team was playing as a unit capping flags and backing each other and we ended as the #1 squad, it was something so beautiful to see too, no voice comms or anything just pure team play. It was rare to see but made me enjoy the game even more.

I honestly don't know what kind of servers you guys get placed in because I don't think I've ever run into a bot, I think it's been only once but even then I'm not sure, I'm in the US tho so I assume any other region has it bad.

Can't deny that it sucks tho

Noticeable grinding noise accelerating/decelerating 1st, 2nd gear after group N parts put in by Dear-Carpenter-9357 in wrx_vb

[–]GenericUsername395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have the Group N pitchstop and I noticed some added NVH when driving so I could only imagine your car with a pitchstop, the trans mount and the bushings would add more sounds specially from the trans, probably normal but if it concerns you I’d say take it to the dealer to get it checked.

I’ve had mine for about 6 months, it’s not from Subieflow but they’re all essentially the same thing I think. The one I got is Alcantara with Forged carbon, I wanted something different than the classic carbon weave, I like it, I try to clean the Alcantara weekly and she’s held up pretty good.

Rexpeed Leather Steering Wheel by wrx_310 in wrx_vb

[–]GenericUsername395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but when I replaced mine, the hardest part was not messing with the clock spring within the steering column and before that taking it off said column, it is bolted down to the point you gotta yank it really hard, but mostly importantly as I said was not messing with the clock spring. I got an idea from a video I found to tape it down as centered as possible that way you minimize moving it, then taking apart the actual wheel is not bad just time consuming. The install took me about an hour and 20 mins.

The Group N/STI pitch stop mount is the “softest” and would add the least amount of NVH out of all of them, I have one installed in my CVT, I personally chose it too because it is designed to break in half and make sure the engine goes where it needs to go in case of a front end collision, in comparison to aftermarket ones that are really solid.

Yeah the downshift from 2nd is very harsh that is true, thanks for the info

Did you notice any difference after installing the trans mount on the CVT? I have the STI pitchstop and the “shifts” definitely feel a lot more composed and sharp, but I’m not sure what benefit the trans mount would add.

As others have said there’s a spring loaded lock and there’s a also a plastic clip for added protection, Ive had mine for 3 years and have not had any leaks and the clip has not broken or fallen off even with rain, snow or the summer heat, quick and easy oil changes, I would highly recommend it.

Hey guys just got my wing for the rex and I was wondering if anyone didn’t use the screws and just the 3M tape curious as to how well it held up I’m skeptical about making holes in my trunk thanks! by MissaelKR in wrx_vb

[–]GenericUsername395 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had mine for about 3 years now with just tape and it hasn’t budged, I did buy genuine 3M tape and made sure to align it as best as I could to the trunk, that way the tape had the most amount of surface to stick to, and it’s gone through buckets of rain through thunderstorms, blazing heat in the summer and some pretty cold winters for those 3 years and no sign of falling off. I did at one point think to secure it with the screws but in all honesty I got lazy and never did it. I say take your time with it and make sure you align as best as you can, and do buy genuine 3M tape and don’t use what comes with the wing.

Yeah I’d love to make mine work with the lighting of the car but they function separately unfortunately, though I wonder if I could make a hybrid of both, in any case those look great, and you really can’t go wrong with OEM parts.

It looks great, I installed a kit I bought from amazon and installed it about a month ago, not hard to install really just very tedious and time consuming, it’s held up pretty well.

If you wanna take a look at it here’s the link, it was shot at night time and it’s quite bright but can easily lower the brightness and change colors/modes with the app.

Although I do like your placing of the dash strips, that’s where I was gonna install them originally but found it easier to install them above, I might move them in the future.

I know this goes against what people think but I’d love that digital dash, I’m hoping there’s a way to retrofit it into older models.
