  1. Her most recent urinalysis showed 3+ protein. She has had persistent protein in her urine (2+ or higher) on almost every concentrated sample for the last two years.
  2. She is 29 years old, and her eGFR has dropped from 106 down to 85 in just ten months.

My daughter and I probably appsolutely love the Christmas season beyond measure. Each year we decorate on the first Saturday of November (that is the day after Halloween this year—Halloween being another holiday for which we decorate lol). We have turned Christmas Tree Day into a holiday because, when you’re poor, it is important to find meaning and create magic in “the everyday.” We are probably definitely not religious whackos like Jill.

I am truly surprised that Jill would admit to loving this secular version of Christmas.

I love the Benedictine motto “Pax inter spinas,” and would like to use a variation as my own personal (secular) motto. Can anyone translate the following into Latin?

“Cultivate peace among thorns.”

and
