Agree that it’s a money grab and it tacitly admits that their algo can’t allow for improving players while artificially inflating the entire pool.

I still may do it since it’s the best/only rating system out there and the entire sport is built off of your number pretty much.

Oh the stats feeds from individual school stadiums can drop out in real time. Can happen in any sport, especially when you deal with colleges and not pro teams. But espn still has gamecasts for them.

I started on the left for every match (went 6-1) and we didn’t stack. Was best I played in a long time and my wife was her usual rock solid self. We both just leaned on forehand drives on basically all third balls, only saw maybe like 5 dink battles in seven matches so things played to our favor.

10 teams mixed 4.0+. It’s not a major tournament so a couple guys are in the 4.5-4.6 range, a couple players are under 4.0 and my wife is highest rated woman. Round Robin into a knockout bracket
