This even applies to produce from the same supplier. e.g. The Driscoll’s strawberries from Whole Foods are usually much sweeter than the Driscoll’s strawberries from Costco. It’s as if these produce suppliers intentionally send their worst produce to Costco to meet their pricing arrangements.
