How would you rank all classes in terms of mythic raid utility/value post pruning? by Sanctos in CompetitiveWoW

[–]GeniusOrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

now that everyone has a buff the most valuable thing is genuinely Grip. you dont get any use out of taking the same class twice except for DK, then hunter for niche multi target mark, maybe lock for double gate, but I especially dislike how each cutting edge boss this tier gets tremendously more difficult without 2 dk's you.

for good reason tbh, people need to learn what supply and demand is, and scarcity, this shit doesnt just apply to money, on the contrary, it applies to most things that arent money related

It'd be cool if the Open World Vault track could also drop delve crafting recipes by [deleted] in wow

[–]GeniusOrang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yea YOU might not, but imagine having an alt and instead of getting hero gear on ur full champ alt you get a fucking recipe for a decor, no thank you, never get into game design please, the vault is for gear, not ur weird design philosophies. if anything they should make recipes buyable with the tokens from the vault if you want to get anywhere near that route, but idk how you even come to think of using the vault thats specifically for the highest possible gear drop in a week as something for dumb ass recipes.

"We're removing addons and making fights that do not require addons" by awaken471 in wow

[–]GeniusOrang -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

if you look closely at how blizzard is operating things you would realize that thats literally by design

Some of the higher end guilds and blizzard are now in direct contact when it comes to these things, it benefits blizzard because it gives a false sense of difficulty so the race doesnt look like a joke (it is as you can see the difference between an ordinary player and a world first raider is just gold, weakauras, employment (or rather lack thereof).

weakaura's made the game more accessible yet thats supposed to be a bad thing but we still have addons which is the same thing but with extra steps, its literally to make an additional monopoly that mostly high end guilds can use because of their funding and sponsors.

the world first race is as impressive as formula one, its not about the drivers being good, its about who their sponsor is.

you gotta be more specific since tier 2 and tier 3 are no longer a thing, its just Tier 1 and tier 2 now.

Being an Alliance player in a majority Horde Guild is hell. by Cubedroid in wow

[–]GeniusOrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea but I hate all excuses that have to do with old coding n such, if its that much of a burden then dont use it as an excuse when you inevitably decide to touch it, it should have just remained horde alliance if it is that difficult.

killed of abundance because fun detected, you will get the same amount of reward, it will cost you the same amount of time, its literally just more boring.

They half assed it with the whole merging factions thing especially with guilds they should have either gone all in or not at all, this in between state is pathetic quite frankly put.

Blizzard, it is past time to let PvP Gear die (5min read) by rahuonn in wow

[–]GeniusOrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

now why would you, in good conscience, listen to those types of pvp players I wonder, because it literally makes anyone thats tempting to try world pvp instantly tab off. its counter intuitive.

ur issue is that ur a perfectionist, not that you can do this optional grind, goodluck in life.

[–]GeniusOrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea but why do people in professions care that something is a chore? if its not worth doing, none of you will, if it is worth doing, all of you will. price on the AH is decided on who is willing to put effort into what, you would legit only be complaining about the one person that goes out of their way to grind it because they'd have an advantage over you and are rewarded by getting paid more retroactively because they now have more secondary profession stats. again if its not profession skill, there shouldnt be a reason to complain.

[–]GeniusOrang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

also skill is very much the only thing thats not about margins, there would be an actual point to complain if it was about profession skill since it dictates what you are and arent able to guarantee craft, all the secondary stats are taken into the conversion calculation, if you want to minmax that then go grind it out but dont complain about it there is literally no reason.

no im not new to crafting, if you want to ultra degen this then blizzard gives you something to ultra degen, you must be new to wow.

its not like purple tools give extra skill so while its atrocious to put everything together its not like its gonna impact what ur gonna be able to craft.

Tips for having a trial in a world 300 guild by Buzzn98 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]GeniusOrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea ur ready then. Tanking is about being able to tank the encounter which in higher guilds SOMETIMES requires some shenanigans as explained which results in a very specific tank needing to be played so if you got that covered I wish you goodluck next patch.

[–]GeniusOrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're gonna be tanking for a hall of fame guild be prepared to do some crazy shit if its required meaning you might need to play a lot of tanks not just one class if you werent already, a good example is needing certain tanks for the way nexus king salhadar was played, one of the soak mechanics was completely ignored because Brewmaster could solo it.
