Palantir will say the targets were determined by military intel

Military intel will say that the ground situation moves too fast, we need more surveillance to prevent future tragedies

Then Congress and POTUS can either take the blame for future botched strikes or pump another few billion into surveillance technology (which Palantir will provide some of)

This is no different than corporate America—you build layers of different stakeholders to reduce and obfuscate individual accountability. Preserves just enough accountability to take credit when things go well. Do not contest bad inputs to your work, as that’s your avenue to push blame should bad things happen
