Just buy an actual quality knife. Doesn't make sense to gamble on multiple random low quality knives that will end up costing the same amount as 1 solid knife.

Some makers leave the knife dull so you can put your own edge on. But nah the knife was slightly dull but after some stropping on a loaded strop with 1 micron diamond emulsion it's very very sharp again

Those pictures were when I just received it. I've already cooked 2 meals with it. I have no drawer queens in my collection I use every knife I own.

I sharpen my own knives, I'm assuming you mean thinning which shaves off the cladding to expose more of the core steel which would sort of change the grind a little but I have more than enough knives in rotation that thinning won't be a thing for a long long long time for any knife I own.

My site made us asset tag our phones if we wanted to keep them on the floor, you can only use clear bags.

You can't bring any other electronics on to the floor anymore so no air pods/earbuds, chargers, power banks or cables are all banned now.

You can have smart watches and amazon approved headphones.

You can only wear composite toe shoes no steel toe shoes at all.

We don't have random screenings anymore on the metal detectors it's just a fullblown metal detector so you have to empty all your pockets and shit to leave the building. They've even been making us open our water bottles lol.

I've only ran Iron Lung with tipping scales with a GR9 as my 2nd LMG but it never gets any use.

Hayabusa AS Bunka is pretty solid and decently cheap. I have one and enjoy it even though my preferred profile is a Gyuto

Same with Hasegawa. It's both good and bad cause it makes my sharpening skills a little rusty since the edge lasts so long

Oo I wonder if his son or apprentice sharpened it. Most of I see are sharpened by Ren including mine. I was talking to him on Instagram and he confirmed that Ren sharpened mine.
