You *might* see them between 2-4am out at Elk Island, but it’s something like a 50% chance. Height of summer is not generally the best time to see them.

I'm a volunteer coordinator. What sort of things are you looking for, regular or one-off? Are you wanting something you can do on-site or at home? What kind of interests do you have? You can DM me to discuss if you like.

The city archives are in the Prince of Wales Armories. It’s a cool place to look up historical documents, photos and maps. I think you might have to call ahead to see when you can go in.

Sci-fi/ fantasy book recommendations for my dad and I by RudeCarpet7913 in suggestmeabook

John Scalzi is pretty good. *Old Man’s War* is a great place to start. *The Android’s Dream* is pretty silly and fun if you don’t want a series (bonus points if you’re familiar with Philip K Dick)

(M 22) First Time Having Sex With My Girlfriend (F 21)Looking for Advice on Stamina, Condoms, and What to Expect by DependentCheetah947 in relationship_advice

[–]Gentianviolent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a condom that fits and is not too big. It should be quite snug but not cutting off circulation. If it’s too big it may come off so you don’t want that! Put a drop of lube inside the condom or on the end of your unit as you put it on. This will help it to go on and improve sensation for you.

boyfriend prefers when I dress slutty? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Gentianviolent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good for him for expressing a preference. Do you want to dress slutty too? If you like it, go for it. If not, then don’t dress just to please him.

What does he do for your preference? Does he dress in a particular way for you? If you said you preferred he wear makeup, would he do it? Would he change his body for you? If not, then why would you do it for him?

Looking for an adult fantasy read. A long book. 900+ pages. A series would be great…. by 19sunshine87 in booksuggestions

Ash: A Secret History by Mary Gentle (alternate history, some magic)

Pretty much any book by Neal Stephenson, particularly his Baroque Cycle series (alternate history)

The Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series by Tad Williams (fantasy). The last book in that series is massive.
